Designed for use in decorative streetlighting, mall, park and shopping center applications, General
Electric's Decashield luminaire lamily o{fers the lighting designer three attractive advantages. Combining
greatly reduced glare, architecturally pleasing daytime appearance and photometrics optimized for energy
efficiency and high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps, the family is ideal for nearly any decorative lighting
job. Optimized for HPS but accommodating any of today's high intensrty discharge (HlD) lamps, this distinctive luminaire is the answer to requirements of beauty combined with eff iciency.

RECOMMENDED POLES
Suggested mounting height is shown in table below
for Decashield D-250, D-400, and D-10OO lLiminaires.
The square, non-tapered prime painted steel and dark
bronze anodized aluminum poles3 are pre-drilled to
accept siandard decoraiive mounting arm. These poles
will withstand winds up to 90 MPHI. Anchorage,
weights, and other details are in GEP 635.
