u Participants will take the survey of their

leadership skills at the beginning of the


program. The first survey will be this afternoon.

u This will be the baseline survey Year One


u Participants take it again at the beginning of

your second year and at the end of the


program

u We will use the surveys to guide the development of


your goals

Using the data from the Leadership Survey
and local goals, identify three CPSELs to
focus on for the year.
u Select 3 goals that represent three

different CPSELs

u Use any of the CPSEL Standards or an

element under the Standard

u CPSEL goals do not need to be in order


u Write a SMART goal for each of three

CPSELs selected

u Identify 3 types of artifacts that support


the candidates best work on the goal
(i.e. meeting agendas and sign in
sheets, PPT for Professional Development,
Photos )
u Set a meeting with the candidates
supervisor to get input on the goals.
They need to sign the IIP.

u Before due date, schedule a coaching session to

review the artifacts you plan to submit

u With your coach, discuss the artifacts and use the

portfolio rubric to assess your artifact

u Artifacts must be your work


u Write a reflection about what you learned while

working on that goal

u Put the due dates and pre-submission coaching

dates on your calendar at the first coaching session

u Year 1 ILP Due Date: November 18, 2016
uSchedule a coaching session with your

supervisor to review the Individual Induction Plan


for feedback before due date as your agenda
for the coaching session.

u Have your supervisor sign your final Individual

Induction Plan before submitting it.
