1.2 Parameters
aw

Assignment to worse cell switch

This parameter indicates if assignment to worse cell is allowed.
ON
Assignment to worse cell allowed
OFF

Assignment to worse cell not allowed

bcchdtcbhyst Hysteresis for distance to cell border for channel group 0
This parameter indicates the hysteresis, given in dB, for distance to cell border for channel
group 0.
bcchdtcbn

Negative distance to cell border for channel group 0

This parameter indicates the separate negative distance to cell border, given in dB, for channel
group 0.

bcchdtcbp

Positive distance to cell border for channel group 0

This parameter indicates the separate positive distance to cell border, given in dB, for channel
group 0.

bcchloss

Pathloss threshold for channel group 0

This parameter indicates the separate pathloss threshold value, given in dB, for channel group
0.

bcchlosshyst Hysteresis for pathloss for channel group 0

This parameter indicates the hysteresis for pathloss value, given in dB, for channel group 0.
bcchreuse

Tight BCCH reuse switch

This parameter indicates Broadcast Control Channel (BCCH) frequency reuse in the cell.
NORMAL
Normal BCCH frequency reuse is in use.
TIGHT
Tight BCCH frequency reuse is in use.

bspwr

Base station effective radiated power

This parameter indicates the base station Effective Radiated Power (ERP), given in dBm, for the
absolute Radio Frequency (RF) channel in the cell defined for BCCH.

bsrxmin

Lower limit of signal strength

This parameter indicates the lower limit of signal strength, given in negative dBm, in Base
Station (BS).

bsrxsuff

Sufficient signal strength

This parameter indicates the sufficient signal strength, given in negative dBm, for path loss
criteria in BS.

bstxpwr

Base station effective radiated power

This parameter indicates the base station ERP power, given in dBm, for the absolute RF
channels in the cell or subcell not defined for BCCH.

cell

Cell designation
This is a symbolic name of a defined cell.

extpen

Handover penalty support

This parameter indicates if the Mobile Services Switching Center (MSC) and target Base Station
Controller (BSC) support penalty handling.
ON
Penalty handling supported
OFF
Penalty handling not supported

fboffsn

Negative frequency band group offset

This parameter indicates the difference in pathloss between the lower frequency band group
and the higher frequency band group.
The availability of this parameter depends on commercial agreement.
fboffsp

Positive frequency band group offset

This parameter indicates the difference in pathloss between the lower frequency band group
and the higher frequency band group.
The availability of this parameter depends on commercial agreement.

hystsep

Signal strength separator

This parameter indicates the signal strength separator for high and low signal strength cells,
given in negative dBm.

isholev

Intersystem handover level

This parameter indicates the threshold for Intersystem handover from Global System for Mobile
Communication (GSM) to Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) Terrestrial
Radio Access Network (UTRAN). Intersystem handover from GSM to UTRAN is only allowed
when the percentage of idle Traffic Channel (TCH) Basic Physical Channels (BPCs) left in the cell
is less than or equal to this value given as percentage. When the percentage of idle TCH BPCs
is greater than this value then only handovers from UTRAN to GSM are allowed.
The availability of this parameter depends on commercial agreement.

maxisho

Maximum number of intersystem handovers

This parameter indicates maximum number of outgoing inter system handovers per second.
The availability of this parameter depends on commercial agreement.

missnm

Maximum number of consecutive missing measurements

This parameter indicates the maximum number of consecutive missing measurements, for
serving or a neighboring cell, permitted before all old measurements are considered invalid.
The parameter is given as number of Slow Associated Control Channel (SACCH) periods
(480ms).

msrxmin

Lower limit of signal strength in MS

This parameter indicates the lower limit of signal strength, given in negative dBm, in Mobile
Station (MS).

msrxsuff

Sufficient signal strength in MS

This parameter indicates the sufficient signal strength, given in negative dBm, for path loss
criteria in MS.

scho

SDCCH handover switch

This parameter identifies if handover on Stand-alone Dedicated Control Channel (SDCCH) is
allowed.
ON
Handover on SDCCH allowed
OFF
Handover on SDCCH not allowed

sctype

Subcell type
This parameter indicates a subcell within the cell.
UL
Underlaid subcell
OL
Overlaid subcell

ALL
Both underlaid and overlaid subcell
EOT DURING PRINTOUT
The operator has cancelled the printout.
NONE
No data existed to be printed.
FAULT INTERRUPT
fault type
A fault interruption occurred during printing.
Fault type:
FORMAT ERROR
The command or a parameter was incorrectly specified.
UNREASONABLE VALUE
details
The parameter was specified with an unreasonable value.
FAULT CODE 3
CELL NOT DEFINED
details
The cell is not defined.
FAULT CODE 27
CELL DATA CHANGE IN PROGRESS
Modification of cell data is in progress.
FAULT CODE 183
COMMAND NOT VALID FOR EXTERNAL UTRAN CELLS
The command is not valid for external UTRAN cells.

2 Function
This printout is received as an answer printout to command RLLOP. It lists locating data.
If the cell has an overlaid or underlaid subcell structure, values for parameter SCTYPE are printed and both
sets of values for parameter BSTXPWR are printed.
If there is no subcell structure defined for a cell no value is printed for parameter SCTYPE.
Parameter EXTPEN is valid only for external cells, so no value is printed for parameter EXTPEN if the cell type is
internal.
Parameters SCTYPE, HYSTSEP, ISHOLEV, MAXISHO, FBOFFSN, FBOFFSP, BCCHREUSE, BCCHLOSS, BCCHDTCBN,
BCCHDTCBP, BCCHDTCBHYST and BCCHLOSSHYST are valid only for internal cells. No values are printed for these
parameters if the cell is external.
