Elements of a valid contract


Intention to create a contract/relationship: Any
agreement between two parties does not make it a
legal relationship/binding contract. There must be an
intention to make a legal relationship in order to
make a legally binding contract.
Agreement: A contract is made when one party
makes an offer, and the other party accepts the
offer, this is the Agreement (clear understanding
Acceptance:
Consideration: Consideration is the third section of a
valid contract. Consideration is also referred to as the
price one of the parties pays to buy the promise of
the other party.
