summatively. (keep in mind that sometimes the uses overlap)

Differentiating information for Formative or Summative use
Formative assessments events can look like any of the following:
Summative assessments are those after the learning has taken place, and it helps to
report level of achievement. This information usually takes the form of summary
number, symbol phrase, or grade.

Remember; you will need to be able to differentiate formative and summative data.
