RESPONSIBILITY
4.1

The Project Manager, Construction Manager, Station Manager (Project


Specific), Via-Duct DPM (Project Specific), Casting Yard In Charge
(Project Specific) ,Site Execution Engineers, & EHS Manager / Officer /
Supervisors responsibility.

5.0

PROCEDURE
5.1 Vertigo test / Height pass test to be conducted before sending worker for
height works. And it is the responsibility of EHS Manager / Officer
5.2 Adequate supervision required by all concern site execution and EHS
Manager / Officer / Supervisor.
5.3 Working at height PTW must be obtained and cross checked by the EHS
personnel.
5.4 Adequate working plat form along with rigid rail protection with rated challi/
grating lock type to be provided or adequately tied up.
5.5 Life Line to be provided with minimum 10 mm wire rope adequately fixed
with bulldog clamps. Saddle to be on live end and u to be on dead end
and 6 D level to be maintained.
5.6 Full Body Harness Belts with double lan yard with snapper hook to be used
by the working crafts and the length of the lan yard must be at least 1.75
meters in length.
5.7 EHS Manager / Officer / Supervisor must ensure the FBHB checked before
using and any damaged lan yard rope to be immediately discarded by the
EHS personnel.
5.8 Contingency plan to be made by the EHS Manager / Officer how to bring
down a worker or group whilst working at height and in case emergency
situation arises.

TRAINING
6.1

EHS Manager / Officer / Supervisor must brief the workers whilst Tool Box
Talk, arrange for In House and External Training and also during Mass Tool
Box Talk.
