CONSTITUTIONS AND BY-LAWS


PREAMBLE
We, the officers and members of the CSA Kinetics Company of Colegio de San
Antonio de
Padua, Guinsay, Danao City, imploring the aid and guidance of the Supreme Being, in
our desire to unite students to establish a student organization that shall embody our
goals and ideas, uphold the dignity and integrity of the College of Music, Arts,
Physical Education and Health Education, and protect the welfare of Education
Students do hereby ordain and promulgate the Constitution
ARTICLE I.
GENERAL PROVISION
SECTION 1. This constitution shall be known as the Constitution of the Kinetics
CompanyEducation through Movement.
SECTION 2. This constitution shall govern the Kinetics Company.
ARTICLE II.
OBJECTIVES
SECTION 1. General Objectives
1.1 Motivate to sense the students of the Colegio de San Antonio
de Padua in the pursuance of the great mission and vision of
the said school.
1.2 Accommodate the students under the College of Music, Arts,
Physical Education and Health Education to become capable
and proficient would-be-teachers.
1.3 Propagate harmonious relationship among members and other
students.
1.4 Enhance and boost the confidence and self-esteem of every
member and officers of the organization.
1.5 Help to develop the talents of every student to become skillful
and more competent Education students.
SECTION 2. Specific Objectives
2.1 Instill academic consciousness among students, specifically in
MAPEH.
2.2 Provide free supplemental learning and workshops in MAPEH.
2.3 Serve the community by giving seminars and trainings in the
field of MAPEH.
2.4 Unite with the accredited students organizations of the school
as well as the other sect of the community in establishing a
just and humane society.
2.5 Enhance the talent of every member in fields of Music, Arts,
Physical Education and in Health.
ARTICLE III.
MEMBERSHIP
SECTION 1. Qualification
1.1 Membership in the organization shall be open every semester
to all bonafide students of Colegio de San de San Antonio de
Padua, College of Teacher Education major in MAPEH.
1.2 Education students majoring in MAPEH are automatically
members, but other students who are majoring on other
subjects cant join the organization.
1.3 All applicants shall pass the initiation and team building that
will be conducted by the officers before being admitted to the
organization. Applicants who did not undergo initiation will not
be inducted.

SECTION 2.

Duties
2.1

Every member must attend all general, social and emergency


meetings as well as minor committee meetings.

2.2

It is the duty of every member to participate actively in all


activities in the organization.
Every member must know and understand the Constitution or
the content of the Constitution.

2.3

SECTION 3. Rights
3.1 Every member enjoys and has the privilege to vote.
3.2 It is the right of every member to discuss freely and openly all
issues pertaining of the Organization.
3.3 A member, who is a MAPEH Major, has the right to run for a
position for the officers in the organization for as long as
he/she has the qualifications enumerated in Article IV and
Article V of this Constitution.
3.4 It is the right of every member to choose the committee of
his/her preference as long he/she can prove that he/she is of
great help to the group he/she chosen.
3.5 Every member has the right to partake with the benefits given
by the Organization.
ARTICLE IV

OFFICERS: DUTIES AND POWER

The officers of the Kinetics Company consists of the following:


President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public
Relations Officers, the Year level Coordinators, Sergeant at Arms.
SECTION 2. President
2.1 Be the Chief Executive Officer of the Organization.
2.2 Sign all resolutions and papers of the Organization.
2.3 Preside all meetings of the Organization.
2.4 Represent the organization in all activities, meetings and
conferences and other occasions or events where the
organization needs representation.
2.5 Appoint any member of the Organization to any duty as may
deem necessary.
2.6 Approves all activities of the eight committees, which are
stated in Article VII of this constitution.

SECTION 1.

SECTION 3. Vice-President
3.1 Take over the function of the President whenever his/her
officer is vacated by reason of absence, resignation, expulsion,
death, physical or mental disability.
3.2 Assists the president in the planning and execution of the
activities undertaken by the Organization.
SECTION 4. Secretary
4.1 Record and keep minutes of meetings.
4.2 Acts as the custodian of all the records of the organization.
4.3 Reports the minutes of the previous meetings at the beginning
of the present meeting.

Certify the correctness and truthfulness of the official acts of


the organization.

SECTION 5. Treasurer
5.1 Be in charge of the Financial accounts of the organization.
5.2 Be in charge in all collection of funds.
5.3 Keep the records of the organizations funds.
5.4 Submit financial reports at the end of an activity and at the
end of semester.

SECTION 6.

Auditor
6.1 Examine and verify the accuracy of the financial statement
prepared by the Treasurer before it shall be forwarded to the
President for Approval.
6.2 Keep a record of the income and expenses of the organization.
6.3 Present the financial statement of the organization to the
body.
6.4 Perform other activities assigned by the higher officers.

SECTION 7. Public Relations Officer (P.R.O)


7.1 Plan and supervise all business transactions and other
activities the higher officers may assign.
7.2 Acts as a spokesperson of the organization in media affairs.
7.3 Make a press release about the organization undertakings.
SECTION 8. Year Level Coordinators
Represents their respective year levels during council

8.2 Inform their respective members of the happenings in the
organization.
SECTION 9. Sergeant at Arms

Be in charge in keeping peace and orderliness during the


activities and meetings
Act as the mediator when problems arise among members of
the Organization.

ARTICLE V.
OFFICERS TENURE
SECTION 1. All key officers of the organization should be MAPEH majors.
SECTION 2. The officers shall hold officer for one school year.
SECTION 3. Any elected officer may hold any position in other organizations as
long as he/she would not neglect his/her duties to the organization.
Except for the President and Vice-President. Otherwise, he/she
would be replaced with other competent members.
ARTICLE VI.
MEETINGS
SECTION 1. Board Meetings
1.1 Board meetings shall be held once a month upon the
discretion of the Executive committee.
1.2 The officers may call emergency meetings from time to time
as may deem necessary.
SECTION 2. Body Meetings
2.1 Regular Body meetings shall be held every last Friday of the
Month.

Fifty percent plus one of the members shall constitute a


quorum in all meetings.
Open forum and special business shall be discussed during
meetings.

ARTICLE VII.
COMMITTEES
SECTION 1. Executive Committees
1.1 The president shall chair the committees with the VicePresident as his/her member.
Executive power of the organization is vested upon the

Shall take charge of the Implementation and execution of the
1.3 laws, policies rules and the regulations formulated by the
organization.
1.4 Shall act as the advisory body of the organization
recommends activities, or project may seem necessary.
1.5 Shall mandate the members of the Organization.

Finance Committee

Shall be chaired by the Treasurer and assisted by the auditor.


Controls the expenditure of all activities.

SECTION 3. Press Committee


3.1 Shall be chaired by the Public Relations Officer.
3.2 Takes charge of the organizations publicity of activities and
public relations.
3.3 Takes charge of the Advertisements, such as posters and
other announcements pertaining to the Organization.
SECTION 4. Grievance and Discipline Committee
4.1 Chaired by Sergeant at Arms
4.2 Shall take charge of the orderliness during the activities and
4.3 meetings.
Takes charge of the complaints and problems that may rise
4.4 among the members of the Organization.
Reminds the members of their responsibilities as part of the
organization.
4.5 Submits reports to the Executive Committee from time to
time.
SECTION 5. Invitation/Program Committee
5.1 Chaired by the Secretary
5.2 Takes charge of the invitations of the guests in all activities.
5.3 Responsible in printing all letters, invitation programs,
reservations and requests forms after the approval of the
Executive Committee.
SECTION 6. School Facilities and Decoration Committee
6.1 Chaired by the President and selected member of the

Takes charge of reservations and requests of revenues and
school facilities needed for all organizations activities.
6.3 Shall take charge of decorating the said venues.
6.4 Coordinates with the Invitation/Program Committee.

SECTION 7. Food Committee
7.1 Chaired by the Year level Coordinators.
7.2 Shall takes charge of the food to be served to the persons
involved in any activity of the Organization.
7.3 Coordinates with the Finance Committee for the expenses.
SECTION 8. Talent Committee
8.1 Shall take charge of the orderliness during the activities and
meetings.
8.2 Reminds the members of their responsibilities as part of the
Organization.
ARTICLE VIII.

AMENDEMENTS

SECTION 1. Any amendments or revisions of this Constitution may be proposed


by any of the members but withthe concurrence of fifty percent
plus one of the members and must undergo due process.
SECTION 2.

An amendment shall become effective upon the:

Ratification by a simple majority of fifty percent plus one of
the
members.

Approval by the Board of Trustees, or by the
Chancellor/Presiding
officer acting on behalf of the Board of Trustees.
ARTICLE IX.

CONSTITUTIONAL VALIDATION

SECTION 1. This Constitution shall go into effect upon ratification of the


student body, provided that it has met the requirements for
amendment outlined in Article VIII, Sections 1 and 2.
SECTION 2. Be it resolved that all previous Constitutions of the Kinetics
Company are hereby declared null and void.
