Meet The Secretariat

HEAD, MUN
The power of an innocent mind is boundless. Amity Model United Nations has
its conviction in the firm foundation of turning vision into action, of expanding
our horizons to address global issues. It is imperative to inculcate qualities of
leadership and initiative in these young minds, and AMUN 2016 is a catalyst towards that. The platform embodies Amitys philosophy of encouraging curious
minds, instilling a sense of global awareness and building the youth of today. It
gives me immense pleasure to declare the Amity Model United Nations 2016

the biggest MUN conference in the region. Packed with six committees, each
unique in its platter. It is my honour to be the Secretary General for this year's
conference. I hope that all of you will come well prepared for the same because
our team has not left any stone unturned to get this conference the title of being
"Biggest in the region".

One can definitely not pin point a flaw in her work. Shes a perfectionist. Chirpy
in nature but hardworking. Believe us, her dance moves are drool worthy. Point
Of Entertainment? Didi Tera Dewar Diwana Good enough? Chairing the committee for the very first time, her analytical skills are impeccable.

A skater, badge holder, country explorer (Malaysia, southkorea, Rome, you name
it and he has been there) and over-achiever. Palash Tayal has more colours
than rainbow. Asking him about his interests, he has only one thing to say;
MUNing. From being a delegate in more than 15 conferences to being a part of
the executive board, he has seen all shades of mun world. The 11th grader has a
few words of wisdom for his junior munners: overcome your fear, let your opinions speak for you, involve yourself in the committee, and you will walk out the
room to be a winner.

Niyati Pande is a proud badge holder, having the blue tie in her wall of fame as
she is the Head Girl of AISV 6. She takes keen interest in organizing cultural
events in the school. She aspires to become a psychologist and environmental
activist as she is highly sympathetic towards animals and loves to spend time
with the nature. Gifted with a melodious voice and expressive writing skills she
has represented the school in various music and writing competitions. She enjoys playing badminton in her leisure time and has won medals for the same.
She has been a peer educator in her school and has helped many of her peers.
A day dreamer, crazy student, but once in for an action, you can't actually beat
her at her work. Being a delegate in the previous MUN she has climbed the ladder to be the Chairperson of HRC this year. She is forthright and wont hold her
words, so delegates beware!

Vrindas one kind of an ardent Feminist. Generally quiet and reserved, she interested in how and why things work. A zealous debator and speaker, most active
in youth parliaments. This enthusiastic host can be found behind the podium in
almost every grand ceremony. Her talents are not simply confined to intellectual
brilliance but also programming, dancing, chess, and sketching. She considers
herself under adventurous exploration and experimental construction, hence
generally out of order.( Tip- She can be bribed with ice cream.)

You remember that buff guy you see everyday in school ? He is only visible once
or twice a day . Well, he is in Synchro so can't complain . Nishant Narayan, ladies and gentlemen . A man of many talents. He has been a part of the school
band and yes is an incredible singer. He likes heavy metal and often tries to imitate their stage moves. Don't forget to hear him out as a point of entertainment.
Nishant has been a part of the school's kabaddi team. Girls, hes got some terrific
eyes. He has been an active part of the debating society of the school and won
laurels at the youth Parliament competitions hence grabbed the ladder to chair
the iconic AIPPM.
He craves for some drama in the committee. Ministers, give him what he wants.

Head Boy of AISV 6, never fails to amaze us with his legitimate argument. Hes
patient, yet aggressive, sophisticated yet a perfect mate to chill out with. A proud

Aditya Subramanium is one of the geekiest school boys youll ever run into.
With exceptional skills in debating, he trods with an aura of humour and sarcasm
with him. He claims to dwell on movies, anime, sitcoms and YouTube. A keen
young musician and a polyglot, this genius has mastered playing the tabla and
the harmonica. Hes often spotted in a spotless white veshthi (dhoti) at his place.

A meritorious student, Ashwin Goel leaves us awestruck with his casual yet fiddling attitude towards computers. Hes driven by his dreams and aspires to be in
the Indian Navy. Website designing, quizzing, basket ball intrigued him since
