Dear Selection Committee Members,

I was excited to see your opening for Service Technician at Frontier Ag and Turf. Being new to the industry, I am
searching for a dependable and successful company. From the research that I have done and talking to current
employees, I feel I would be an excellent fit at Frontier Ag and Turf.
I grew up in the St. Croix Valley, living in Stillwater, MN. I am married and have three children. I was employed in
the Minnesota school system for twenty-two years as a custodian. June of 2014 I resigned from Centennial schools.
During the next year, I was a stay at home dad to my three children. In August 2015, I enrolled in the Agricultural
Power and Equipment program in New Richmond, WI. I chose this program because I enjoy the Agricultural field,
like working with my hands and need a challenging skill.
I found Frontier Ag and Turf on Wisconsin TechConnect. I am currently enrolled at WITCs Agricultural Power and
Equipment two- year program. This is my second year and final year of the program. Josh Goglin has talked highly
of Frontier Ag and Turf and he has encouraged me to apply. Josh is in my program and we work well together.
I believe, I would be a good fit for Frontier Ag and Turf because I have a strong work ethic and excel in solving
problems. I am able to diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems, repair internal combustion engines and power
transmissions.
My resume, references, and recommendations are attached. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest
convenience to discuss the positon and your needs.

Sincerely,

Chad Nelson
