MAHOMET MADRIGALS
NOVEMBER 27th 10:45am

We want to do everything that we can to

have our worship gathering be a place
where we glorify God and grow together.
This Sunday we will be studying:
2 Corinthians 4:17
This Sunday we will be singing:
Joy to the World
O Come All Ye Faithful
The Mahomet Seymour Madrigals
Joyful, Joyful We Adore You

Advent begins this weekend,

November 27th, and once again we
will have free Advent calendars and
reading guides for families. We only
ask that you would commit to read
each day with your kids drawing
them into the bigger story: That
Christ is coming!

What a great day of

fellowship AND friendship!
Thanks to everyone who brought dishes to
share! A special thanks to Tasha Schifo and
her team of awesome ministers of the gospel
who prepped, set-up, cooked and cleaned
up. Many hands make for light work, and
many hands make for great blessings!
Thanks to all for being a blessing.

Wow - You guys seriously

just knock my socks off!
All of the ornaments from the
Helping Hands giving tree were
taken Sunday in record time!
Thank you for once again being
a living testament to loving your
neighbors!

This past Thursday, our own Abby Barrett

hosted a TSOL (Conversational English
Class) at the new Great News Radio center!
Abby created the material, wrote the
cirriculumn and presented to 12-15 students.
There have been so many positive
comments from those that attended and she
is doing another in a few short weeks!
Way to go Abby!

Praise God that last week, 6 of the

children displayed on the back
wall were sponsored and given
hope for a better life here on earth
and eternal life in heaven.

Did you know that due to a lack of

funding in Champaign County there is
no cold weather shelter for our
brothers and sisters without
addresses in Champaign County?
We believe that it is the churchs
Biblical responsibility to take care of
the least of these by creating a place
for our brothers and sisters to go
when the temperatures fall.
Currently we are asking you to join us
in praying for our involvement with
other area churches in creating and
funding a January, February and
March, 7pm-7am cold weather shelter
that will provide a hot dinner, breakfast
and sack lunch for our brothers and
sisters without addresses.
The total cost is $28,500, divided
between 50 churches is $570, our
proposed total commitment for the 3
months. Please Pray!
