When the air flow passes by the rear wing, the air under

the rear wing will move fast. In contrast, the air above the
rear wing will move slowly, which causes a differential
pressure or a down force. This force could make car stable
with high speed.
In this paper, the numerical simulation results are compared with the
experimental results about the uninstallation of the rear wing of the
simplified car. It is verified that the numerical simulation method and the
calculated results are correct and reliable, so as to study the flow field and
aerodynamic characteristics of the car. Through two kinds of flow
velocity of multi wing's angle of attack simulation, get the aerodynamic
parameters with the wing's angle of attack trend curve, when the angle of
attack is 12, the aerodynamic drag of minimum angle of attack was 15.
When the aerodynamic lift is minimum.
In two kinds of flow velocity, drag coefficient and lift coefficient
change with the angle of attack is basically the same. But with greater
speed, rear wing effect is more obvious, which shows the reasonable
installation can not only significantly reduce the rear wing lift, but also
can reduce the wind resistance. The results of this paper provide
theoretical basis for improving the aerodynamic characteristics of
passenger car and optimizing the angle of attack of rear wing-loading,
which can reduce the fuel consumption and improve the handling
stability.
