My career aim is to work in a dynamic environment where I can excel by utilizing my potential and
broaden my horizons by complementing the theoretical knowledge with practical experience of the
professional life, experiencing the culture of team work and individual excellence along the way.
I have done B.Sc (Engg) Metallurgy and Material Sciences form I.C.E.T
University of the Punjab, Lahore with an aggregate of 74%.During my professional
education I have went through a 4 week internship in Chenab Engineering Works &
Foundries (Pvt.) Ltd .Faisalabad. I worked there as an internee and went through
all the work carried out in various workshops along with various quality control
parameters.
Currently I am working as Sr.Manager Technical Affairs & Production in
M.A Steel Castings (Pvt) Ltd, Hattar which is a sister company of Pak Steel ReRolling Mills (Pvt) Ltd,Islamabad since March,2012.I am supervising the melting
units i.e. High Frequency Induction furnaces, and continuous casting machine .
Along with that I am also supervising Spectrometer laboratory, chemical testing
laboratory and physical testing laboratory. I have hand on experience on working
of High frequency Induction Furnaces. I have supervised various production processes
and implemented where something was wrong. Before that I was working in the same
group at their other melting unit named as Pak Iron & Steel Castings(Pvt)
Ltd,Islamabad as Shift In-charge (SMS &CCP) since May 2011.
Previously I was working as Shift Engineer in Black Gold Steel Industries
(Pvt) Ltd, Lahore from January 2009 to April 2011.Started as a Trainee engineer
and then promoted as a shift engineer. I was responsible for the efficient proceedings
of steel melt shop, mechanical testing laboratory and TMT unit.
The key responsibilities are as under:
Preparation and updation of Project Quality Plan.
Product development.
To prepare internal audit plan for all departments & subcontractors.
To follow up the timely close out of non conformities, corrective action
requests and
preventive action requests.
Maintain Quality Assurances filing and record retention.
Ensure handling, storage and maintenance of equipment and materials
(in their care, custody and control) in accordance with manufacturers
suggested procedures and relevant specifications.

M.A S.C is a new project under the flag of Pak Steel Re-Rolling Mills (Pvt) Ltd,
Islamabad that has an induction furnace with a capacity of 15 tons and a CCM and
holds a facility for the chemical testing of steel with state of the art technology.
M.A.S.C is manufacturing steel billets ranging from 80x80 mm 2 to 150x150 mm2 for
10mm to 42 mm rebar according to ASTM-A615, A706 & BS-4449:2005.
My main responsibilities are as follows.
