Low level:
Give them a word problem linked to the science curriculum which is I went to a park. I saw 6 butterflies. I
know that each one has 6 legs. How many legs that all of them have?
The teacher will give each pair using the manipulative (small disks) to make array then make fact family
using Laminated papers (incomplete fact family)
Theyll have to make array to solve the problem and make the fact family.

The teacher will give each pair Laminated papers (empty) to make fact family using the markers and the
given numbers in the word problem.
Theyll have to make array to solve the problem and make the fact family.
Theyll not have (incomplete fact family) and (manipulative)
Closing
The teacher will revise the lesson and ask students about what theyve learned today.
Assessment
Walking around while the students are working and see if they understood or not
Ask them WHY and HOW questions to check their understanding
Reflection:
The preparation of the lesson and activities went well, because I bring all materials and
organized well but my lesson plan was too long with repeated details. If I will give this
lesson again I will do more activities because I only gave the students one activity which
make the lesson a bit boring. Also, I would like to make the lesson students centre
instead of teachers centre because I talked and explained more than what students did.
The children learned how to make the arrays. I knew that because when I was observing
them, I saw them make the arrays correctly.
In the future I will prepare more activities and Ill let the students discover the concept.
