re-imagining collaboration

Creating video collaboration

infrastructure at Coca-Cola India
Coca-Cola India wanted to empower its employees with a networked and distributed video conferencing,
data sharing, and wireless presentation solution. Numerous meeting rooms, a boardroom and a training
room were seamlessly integrated into a single Networked AV system at Coca-Colas office in Gurgaon, India.

The Challenge
Coca-Cola India Pvt. Ltd. handles the business activities of the brand in the South Asia region. They coordinate with a
global team spread across several countries. The company was looking for a powerful video collaboration solution at
their new Gurgaon office.
Actis undertook the design, implementation and audio visual integration of 25 rooms. These rooms are used for
presentations, video conferencing, and training applications. The project included numerous 4-8 seater presentation
rooms, 4 rooms with Cisco Telepresence solutions, a 52-seater training room, 4 senior executive rooms with
conferencing facilities, and a multifunctional cafeteria (town hall).
The challenge was to provide Coca-Cola with modern tools for seamless video collaboration and communication
while adhering to strict timelines.

The Solution
The Professional Services Group at Actis helped create video collaboration and
meeting infrastructure that is flexible and cost-effective. The solution includes
interactive touch screens and wireless BYOD connectivity for easy data sharing
during presentations.

Actis incorporated Crestrons DigitalMedia technology to manage digital AV
and other controls. This allows the use of a CAT5 or CAT6 cable to carry audio,
video, and control data, which considerably simplifies cable management and
maintenance. Substantial cable cost savings are also achieved since multiple
audio, video and control cables usually required are replaced with a single,
lower cost Ethernet cable that combines their functionality.

The lighting, sources, displays and video switching are managed with local
Crestron DMPS3-4K-150-C switchers. They can be controlled easily by iPads

running Crestron Mobile Pro G software. DigitalMedia also ensures that basic
meeting and collaboration systems are 4K-ready for future upgrades.
AirMedia technology is enabled in key meeting rooms. This technology allows
presenters and participants to share their presentation/content wirelessly via
their laptops and other mobile devices. The company now has a collaborative
and integrated presentation environment.

The Solution
Actis also worked closely with Lutron to provide an efficient and intelligent
lighting control solution. The solution uses Hyperion solar-adaptive shading
software for optimized light control. This system uses daylight sensors and
dimmable light fixtures to automatically set and maintain perfect light levels.
The adjustments are made based on the position of the sun and outdoor light
levels. This ensures energy saving, uniform lighting, reduced glare, and heat
gain, leading to a smartly lit working environment.

High-capacity 52-seater Training Room

A high-capacity 52-seater training room is integrated with a video conferencing

solution, a Biamp DSP powered audio system, and other AV equipment such as
projectors, motorized screens,
and wireless microphones
systems.

This room has all the tools for an interactive learning environment and the room
controls are conveniently accessible via an iPad.
Coca-Colas classy reception features a 4K ready 46 2x2 video wall with a processor
to control the media displayed. The cafeteria incorporates a 65 LED display,
movable podium with a touch monitor, Cisco TelePresence SX20, and AV
reinforcements. Thanks to this, the cafeteria can also be used for town hall events,
presentations, and various team building activities.

The Result
Actis Technologies helped Coca-Cola India convert their new office into a space for open and productive video
collaboration. The solution deployed by Actis is not only multi-functional but also seamlessly blends into the
aesthetics of this modern office environment.
The result is that Coca-Cola now has a future-ready and flexible collaboration infrastructure. Their team has
access to more intuitive tools to conduct meetings, presentations, and training sessions. Due to this, both user
adoption and use of video collaboration solutions have grown.

CCIPL was moving into new location almost after 20 years of operating
out of an old site. We were looking for an AV partner to setup our 3 VC
rooms with complete automation, 12 meeting rooms with screens,
Cafeteria/Town Hall /w VC and Board Room. We are glad we chose ACTIS
as our partner after screening of few other vendors. ACTIS provided us
with right solution as per our needs and were very professional in their
