Introduction
A year ago, while walking in Peace Valley Park, a beautiful park
near my home, I was praying the Rosary and I felt the Blessed
Mother put on my heart that I could write a book. As a matter of
fact, this would be the easiest book to write ever because most
of it is already written. I felt that the Lord wanted me to dig
deeper into the Diary of Elizabeth Kindleman, a lay woman who
heard from the Lord and Our Lady in a very big but very personal
way. Elizabeth Kindleman lived in Hungary and was a widow and
mother of six children. She worked many hard jobs and lived
under communism.
Like many of us, life for most part had beaten and worn her
down to point where she was not even sure she had faith
anymore. And it was at that low point, that Jesus and Mary
began to speak to her delivering an urgent message for our
times but also one of hope that we have not been forgotten but
that Our Lord even today is active in our world and in our lives.
Elizabeth was one of the little ones- she gave her Yes to Jesus
and Mary and began a hidden life of prayer and sacrifice despite
being an active mother and grandmother. As a matter of fact,
she was precisely chosen to deliver the Flame of Love message
because she was a mother!
I too am a mother with adult children- I am a convert from the
Methodist faith who came into the Church because of the illness
of one of my children and my need to follow and trust in Jesus
wherever He would lead me. As a former evangelical, I tend to

you- please pray for me! May the Grace of the Flame of Love live
in your heart and touch everyone you meet!

Today's Reading:
He guides me in right paths
for his names sake.
Even though I walk in the dark valley
I fear no evil; for you are at my side
With your rod and your staff
that give me courage. (Psalm 23)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, You walk with us in the Valley and You lead us through- no matter what I
am walking through today You are walking with me and You will never let me go!
12/3 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Solid Rock or Sinking Sand?
First Thursday of Advent
The Church and the whole world are in danger. You cannot change this situation. Only the Holy
Trinity, through the unified intercession of the Blessed Virgin, the angels, the saints and the souls in
purgatory, can help you. (Jesus) (Diary Page 92)
Today's Reading
Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them
will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock. (Matthew 7)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, the world just seems to be in increasing darkness. Are we building our
lives on the Rock of Your Truth and Rock of Peter- if we are complacent we may think we are
standing still but indeed we are sinking. Lord help us to keep watch and build our lives on Your
Word!
12/4 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Grace Flows Down

weakness we are actually working in Your Strength! The harvest seems even greater now in this
world of growing darkness but You desire that we give all we have to bring the lost to You. O Lord

12

And how does this happen to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me? (Luke 1)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord You are so good- You give us Your Blessed Mother to rescue the lostjust like Guadalupe so many years ago! Elizabeth Kindleman was chosen because she was a Mom

And who gave you this authority? (Matthew 21)

preparing the way so that our hearts are ready for You to burn brightly with the fire of Your Love.

And how does this happen to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me? (Luke 1)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord we are nobodies, but like the Elizabeths, Our Holy Mother has chosen us
little people to bless- her visitation to us, like the visitation to her cousin brings us peace and prompt

Magnificat!
12/ 21 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Rising up to Meet Him
Fourth Monday of Advent
O Radiant Dawn

(Mary) (Diary Page 44)
Arise, my beloved, my dove, my beautiful one,

From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his Name. (Luke 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You alone have done Great Things and have sent us Your unmerited
favor! Let our hearts be humble like Our Blessed Mother- knowing with confidence who we are in

life for the Kingdom. Lord few of us will be asked to lay down her lives yet all of us are expected to
be strong and courageous and to endure to the end in the circumstances of our lives and in pouring

that we most need it that we will persevere in returning love for love.

And coming forward at that very time,
she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child
to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem (Luke 2)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, can we be like Anna, worshiping, sacrificing, praying, and praising just
like her that You are in our midst? Let us be instruments of Your Grace and be evangelizers right
where we are in our parishes!

Make straight the way of the Lord,
as Isaiah the prophet said.

us orphans. Our Mother has asked us to prepare for the work of reparation so that Your Flame of
Love will blind Satan and souls will be saved.
1/3 Todays Consuming Fire Meditation- May the Light of Christ Who is Our Morning Star
Lead You to Mary and Her Loving Child

Todays Reading:
1/4 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Greater is He Living Inside of Me Than He Who is
Living in The World!
Memorial of Elizabeth Ann Seton
Let my Precious Blood fall upon you. My drops of Blood are a bank check. The check is valid until

(Diary Page 74)

You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them,
for the one who is in you

seems so long but this battle has already been fought, won, and paid for with Your Precious Blood!
Greater is He who is living in me than He who is living in the world!
1/5 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Love That Never Lets Go

the Flame of Love Devotion!
1/12 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Victory in Jesus

1/13 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Listening to God

wasn't to be. The Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother began speaking to me (Elizabeth)
(Compendium Page 6)
Today's Readings:
Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening. (1 Samuel 3)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, we think we want the easy life and calm- life is difficult just getting by
each day. Yet Your call, if we allow ourselves to hear it may well bring its own storms! O Lord, You
are always in our little boats and You always calm the seas when we need You to. But You call us
higher to the purpose for which we are made- let us be still enough to hear Your voice!
23
24
The renewal of the earth, although flooded with sufferings, will come about by the power of
intercession of the Blessed Virgin (Jesus) (Compendium Page 93)
Today's Readings:
His mother said to the servers,
Do whatever he tells you. (John 2)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You have given us Your Blessed Mother to intercede for us- in the big
things and in the small. Our Blessed Mother will never let us down- may we do as She tells us to and
always do whatever You tell us!
1/18 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Fast or Feast?
Second Monday of Ordinary Time
Offer for them (Holy Souls) the strict fast as well as prayer during a part of the night. (Jesus)
(Compendium Page 117)
Today's Readings:
Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?
As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.
But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them,
and then they will fast on that day.(Mark 2)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, while You were on Earth You were God with us and You still are
especially in the Eucharist. We praise and thank You each day and spend as much time in Your
Eucharistic Presence as we can. But we are in the time of right now but not yet- Your Kingdom is

but the LORD looks into the heart. (1 Samuel 16)

remain little, faithful, and true!
1/20 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Do You Want to Change the World?
Second Wednesday of Ordinary Time

themselves or refuse my invitation. All are my instruments. (Mary) (Diary Page 63)
Today's Readings:
Blessed be the LORD, my rock,
who trains my hands for battle, my fingers for war. (Psalm 144)
25
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, it seems like the Goliaths out there are laughing at us, those who would
fight for Your Truth! We get beaten down and numb. But Lord, through the Intercession of Our
Blessed Mother and the Flame of Love, we have all the Grace we need to change the world- we are
Your instruments trained soldiers in Mary's Army. Let us not forget who we are in You!
1/21 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- He Knows
Second Thursday of Ordinary Time

(Jesus) (Compendium Page 8)

my tears are stored in your flask;
are they not recorded in your book?
Then do my enemies turn back,
when I call upon you. (Psalm 56)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You know and see everything! Our tears are held in Your Hands. You
see all of our trials and all our efforts and You never let us go! Jesus I trust in You!

Page 25)
Today's Readings: Jesus went up the mountain and summoned those whom he wanted
and they came to him.
He appointed Twelve, whom he also named Apostles,
that they might be with him
and he might send them forth to preach
and to have authority to drive out demons: (Mark 3)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You call us, not because we are qualified but You qualify the called! O
Lord, may we answer Your call to follow You and be Your Flame of Love Apostles in this dark age.
On this day of prayer for the soul of our nation- let us offer up our prayer and sacrifices and our work
today so that the evil of abortion would cease in our land!
1/23 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- What if His People Prayed?
Second Saturday of Ordinary Time
With my Flame of Love, I want to make the home come alive again with love. I want to unite families
that are scattered. Let the families plead fervently so that we can hold back the chastising Hand of
My Divine Son (Mary) (Compendium Page 90)
Today's Readings:
O LORD of hosts, how long will you burn with anger
while your people pray? (Psalm 80)
26
Prayer Meditation: Lord sin abounds in this world but Your Grace abounds all the more. This is the
time for prayer especially for the family which is under attack. Lord hear our prayers and pleadings
for our families and have mercy on us! May our homes come alive again with love!
1/24 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Time for a Mouth Guard?
Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
Remain always silent because only in this way God's voice will continue to speak within you. Your
spiritual life must take root in silence. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 37)
Today's Readings:
Let the words of my mouth and the thought of my heart
find favor before you,
O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. (Psalm 19)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, may the words I speak be few and pleasing to You so as to build up the
Body of Christ or to pray. So many words and anxious thoughts disturb our peace and make it
impossible to find You!
1/25 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Regaining Our Sight

blindness of this morning, and had completely forgotten it. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 97)
Today's Readings:
Saul, my brother, the Lord has sent me,
Jesus who appeared to you on the way by which you came,
that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Immediately things like scales fell from his eyes
and he regained his sight. (Acts 9)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, lift the scales from our eyes so that we can see Your goodness- fill us
with Your peace that we may regain our sight and keep our eyes fixed on You and not our
circumstances.
1/26 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Not for Sissies
Feast of St. Timothy and St. Titus
Suffer with courage, perseverance and sincere abandonment. All that you can do for Me on Earth is
meritorious (Jesus) (Compendium Page 19)
Today's Readings:
For this reason, I remind you to stir into flame
the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands.
For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice
but rather of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You did not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love and self control. Stir
the Flame of Love in us so that we will persevere in the work You have given us no matter how small
it may seem in the natural- every sacrifice and prayer offered is for the love of You and the salvation
27
of souls. Lord, my mother always told me that this life is not for sissies- give us courage to know and
do Your will in the present moment even if we are doing it afraid!
1/27 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Time for Some Weed Whacking?
Wednesday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time
You know, many souls consecrated to Me have fallen on good and soil and produced abundant fruit.
Now they are dispersed. They have no greater dream than to give themselves as fodder to animals.
(Jesus) (Compendium Page 48)
Today's Readings:
And some seed fell on rich soil and produced fruit.
It came up and grew and yielded thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.
He added, Whoever has ears to hear ought to hear. (Mark 4)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, even those of us who once produced good fruit or are even doing so now
should not take for granted the need to keep our gardens pruned! So many thorns can choke Your
Word in us! Lord, by Your Sacraments, especially Reconciliation and the Eucharist and faithful
meditation on Your Word we can keep the gardens of our souls weed free!
1/28 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- This Little Light of Mine
Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas
Your drops of oil gathered on Earth- which by your lifetime of sacrifices, My Divine Son united with
His merits- will fall back upon the extinguished lamps of the souls and will ignite them by my Flame
of Love (Mary) (Compendium Page 74)
Today's Readings:
Jesus said to his disciples,
Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket
or under a bed,
and not to be placed on a lampstand? (Mark 4)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, this little lamp of my life is yours to ignite so that souls will be saved. Lord
give me oil for my lamp so that Your light can be seen in me- may Your light never be hidden from
those we love!
1/29 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Sowing Seeds

You are too immersed in earthly things, My little one. I did not say that to discourage you. I want to
encourage you so that you do not seek relief by looking to the earth in your battles. (Jesus)
(Compendium Page 122)
Today's Readings:
The news about them reached the ears of the Church in Jerusalem,
and they sent Barnabas to go to Antioch.
When he arrived and saw the grace of God,
he rejoiced and encouraged them all
to remain faithful to the Lord in firmness of heart,
for he was a good man, filled with the Holy Spirit and faith. (Acts 11)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, You encourage us in our everyday battles to seek Your Face! Let us
rejoice in Your Grace and encourage others to persevere in remaining faithful in their battles! Let us
be like Barnabas and be encouragers because we are filled with the Holy Spirit!
4/20 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Christ Our Light

I do not want one soul condemned. All must desire the same thing. That is why I place this beam of light, the
Flame of Love, in your hands. (Jesus) Diary Page 72)
Today's Readings:
I came into the world as light,
so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.(John 12)
Prayer Meditation- O Jesus You are the Light of the World- You came as light in Your Incarnation and You
come as light in our times to pour our Your Graces on this critical time of darkness. Come Lord Jesus into our
hearts and let us not delay in passing this Flame of Love to our neighbors by prayer, sacrifice, and acts of
mercy! Let us desire that Your Light would pour out and illumine all hearts so that none would remain in
darkness and let us act on this desire in concert with the Holy Spirit and Your Blessed Mother!
4/21 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Blessed Humility

vain. I am truly happy. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 44)
Today's Readings:
I am reminding you, brothers and sisters,
of the Gospel I preached to you,
which you indeed received and in which you also stand.
Through it you are also being saved,
if you hold fast to the word I preached to you,
unless you believed in vain. (1 Corinthians 15)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord may we please You by believing in the Gospel and following Your
Commandments! It is through Your Gospel and nothing else that we are saved- let us hold fast to
Your Word and Your Church- we have not believed in vain! Jesus You are our only hope!

Page 54)
Today's Readings:
He made from one the whole human race
to dwell on the entire surface of the earth,
and he fixed the ordered seasons and the boundaries of their regions,
so that people might seek God,
even perhaps grope for him and find him,
though indeed he is not far from any one of us.
For In him we live and move and have our being, (Acts 17)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord You are not far from any of us if we just seek You- In You we live and
move and have our being. Lord may all seek You and find You in Your Word, Your Church, and Your
Sacraments. Only in You is their true and everlasting life!
5/5 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Absolute Trust in Our King!

142)
Today's Readings:
And I have given them the glory you gave me,
so that they may be one, as we are one,
I in them and you in me,
that they may be brought to perfection as one,
that the world may know that you sent me,
and that you loved them even as you loved me. (John 17)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You have given us glory so that You can work though us! We are
changing from glory to glory to glory so that the world may know Your Love!
5/9 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Take Courage!
Seventh Monday of Easter
My little one, take courage and gaze at Me. May our eyes look at each other and our glances melt
in one another. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 50)
Today's Readings:
I have told you this so that you might have peace in me.
In the world you will have trouble,
but take courage, I have conquered the world. (John 16)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, in this world we have trouble- we have fears, sickness, anxiety,
depression, worries of every kind! Like the Apostles we run away from what we cannot face. And yet
Lord You tell us always to take courage- to fix our eyes on You and to let Your peace surround us.
Lord help me keep my eyes off the storm and fix my eyes today on The Cross and let Your grace
flow down into my soul.
5/10 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Speak Up!
Seventh Tuesday of Easter
Therefore, we have no right to wrap ourselves in silence. We also must remember that we are
responsible for every spoken word. Therefore, we should walk and live in Gods presence, pondering
each word that we say. Our Father gave the gift of speech and you must make use of your gift. Do
not be afraid to speak! (Mary) (Compendium Page 72)
Today's Readings:
And so I solemnly declare to you this day
that I am not responsible for the blood of any of you,
for I did not shrink from proclaiming to you the entire plan of God. (Acts 20)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, let us not shrink from our responsibility to proclaim the Gospel- let us
make use of the gift of speech! Let us walk and live in Your Presence and ponder and pray over
every word so that it is You that speaks through us to draw all to You. Woe to us if we do not preach
the Gospel!
62
63
64
65
Renounce the reading of frivolous books, the hearing of your favorite music and your seeking to be
among others. (Jesus) (Diary Page 24)
Today's Readings:
If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off.
It is better for you to enter into life maimed
than with two hands to go into Gehenna,
into the unquenchable fire.
And if your foot causes you to sin, cut if off.
It is better for you to enter into life crippled
than with two feet to be thrown into Gehenna.
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out.
Better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye
than with two eyes to be thrown into Gehenna,
where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched. (Mark 9)
Prayer Meditation: Oh Lord, we are surrounded and bombarded by images and entertainment that
will not lead to You! Our children watch what we see and do and they will follow us. Lord help us to
remove from our lives anything that does not help us grow closer to You- even if we have to distance
ourselves from entertainments that others enjoy. Guard our eyes and our hearts!
5/20 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- The Compassion of Our Lord Jesus

You will show me the path to life,
fullness of joys in your presence,
the delights at your right hand forever. (Psalm 16)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, we are so noisy and full of ourselves and we cannot hear You! You speak to us in
silence and You show us the path to life! Lord let us offer our days and ourselves as a living sacrifice and turn
down the noise of this world so that it is Your Word we are receiving and letting take root in our souls!
6/9 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Emotional Rescue
Thursday of the Tenth Week in Ordinary Time
You are intense,
forceful and irritable. You must be transformed according to my
heart. (Jesus) (Diary Page 26)
Today's Readings:
You have heard that it was said to your ancestors,
You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.
But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother
will be liable to judgment,
and whoever says to his brother,
Raqa, will be answerable to the Sanhedrin,
and whoever says, You fool, will be liable to fiery Gehenna (Matthew 5)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, how easily we give into emotions and anger- we use our tongues like
weapons without a single thought. Yet we will be accountable for those words. O Lord help us to not
give into emotions but to be transformed according to Your meek and humble heart. We can't do this
on our own- only You can transform us from glory to glory to glory!
6/10 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Waiting on the Lord

others realize that they can only possess God if they come far
away from all earthly noise. (Jesus) (Diary Page 98)
Today's Readings:
73
74
75
76
77
Prayer Meditation- Lord, many are called yet few are chosen. We wander off the narrow road onto
so many byways that just leave us brokenhearted. The key to open the gate and to get back on the
right road is trust in You! We can't understand where You want to take us without faith and trustLord increase my faith and fix my eyes on You so that I will not wander any longer but will join You in
Your saving work for souls no matter what the cost!

produce abundant fruit. (Jesus) (Diary Page 48)
Today's Readings:
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit,
nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. (Matthew 7)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, thank You for teaching us how to bear the abundant fruit of the Spirit. It is
only in remaining in You that we can bear the good fruit- joy, peace, love, self control. Lord, let us
not fall away from Your Tree of Life by opening our mouths too much- let our words be Your Words
and not ours which so often get us into trouble!
6/23 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Flooded
Thursday of the Twelfth Week of Ordinary Time
My daughter, after a period of relief, do not be surprised if sufferings again flood your soul. You are
experiencing the temptations of the Evil One. Do not worry. I am with you and I act within you.
(Jesus) (Compendium Page 122)
Today's Readings:
Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them
will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock. (Matthew 7)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, the floods come into our lives- the water rises and the wind howls! Trials,
temptations, sufferings, sickness and everything else our broken world can throw at us! Yet Lord we
have Your Word and Your Promises- we will not be shaken! On Christ the solid rock I stand all other
ground is sinking sand!

wineskins and get ready to be filled with the new!
7/3 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Not to Us but To Your Name Be the Glory
Fourteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time
Since the Word became Flesh, I have never given such a
great movement as the Flame of Love that comes to you now.
Until now, there has been nothing that so blinds Satan. Do not
refuse this gift. To do so, would bring great ruin. (Diary Page 44) (Mary)
Today's Readings:
The seventy-two returned rejoicing, and said,
"Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name."
Jesus said, "I have observed Satan fall like lightning from the sky.
Behold, I have given you the power to 'tread upon serpents' and scorpions
and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice because the
spirits are subject to you,
but rejoice because your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You have given us this great grace- The Flame of Love for these tumultuous
times to save our families and our nation and world. As we strive to follow what Our Blessed Mother is
teaching us we know it is not because of us but because of You that Satan can indeed be blinded and
souls saved! Let us be disciples of Your Mercy for Your Glory Lord!
7/4 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Fidelity to the Faithful One
Monday of the Fourteenth Week of Ordinary Time

one. (Jesus) (Diary Page 91)

in love and in mercy;
I will espouse you in fidelity,
and you shall know the LORD. (Hosea 2)
Prayer Meditation: Lord may we stay close to You by persevering in faithfulness because You are always
faithful. May we never run after anything false again!
7/5 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Nothing Like This
Tuesday of the Fourteenth Week of Ordinary Time
Nothing
like this has existed before. This is my greatest miracle that I
will do for all. My words are crystal clear. Do not misinterpret
them. Otherwise, you would be responsible. Act quickly, do
not postpone my Cause for another day. (Mary) (Diary Page 57)
Today's Readings:

84
85
86

7/22 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Longing for the Living God
Feast of St. Mary Magdalene
There is always a great and continual longing for God in my heart. I accepted life, death and
suffering according to His Holy Will. This filled me with such felicity that words cannot express it. My
heart throbbed with happiness. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 69)
Today's Readings:
O God, you are my God whom I seek;
for you my flesh pines and my soul thirsts
like the earth, parched, lifeless and without water.(Psalm 63)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, like Mary Magdalene, we are sinners saved by Grace- by the Living Water
that flows from Your Pierced Side. You have loved us while we were yet sinners- by faith we are saved! O
Lord like Mary Magdalene may we- loved and saved by You -continually long for You and seek You with
our whole hearts! As You call our name and send us out so that we may proclaim that You are alive and
we will never be the same!
7/23 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Even the Sparrow Knows that You Hold Tomorrow
Saturday of the Sixteenth Week of Ordinary Time
It is to the warm solidarity of the family sanctuary that souls come back to, after having strayed far.
It is there that they come to find themselves and they once more return to God. It is necessary for
you, mothers, to extend the warm understanding of your hearts to your children even after they have
established their own homes. Great is the responsibility which falls upon you. Do not think that once a
child has become an adult, he no longer needs his parents. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 8)
Today's Readings: Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest
in which she puts her young
Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
my king and my God! (Psalm 83)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, even the sparrow knows that You provide an eternal home for us so we have
nothing to fear. We need not fear that our children are away from You because we have put all our little
sparrows in Your care. Lord guide us in our prayers and sacrifices for our families and in keeping our
nests and our hearts open to all of our young people so in need of You!
7/24 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Persistence in Prayer
Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
We must intensify prayer. We must sacrifice for world peace
and for the salvation of souls. We must go to the limit. (Jesus) (Diary Page 121)
Today's Reading:
I tell you,
if he does not get up to give the visitor the loaves
because of their friendship,
88
89
7/27 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- If You Complain You Remain- If You Praise You Are
Raised!
Wednesday of the Seventeenth Week of Ordinary Time
Always
be silent so Gods voice can speak within you. (Jesus) (Diary Page 38)
Today's Readings: Thus the LORD answered me:
If you repent, so that I restore you,
in my presence you shall stand;
If you bring forth the precious without the vile,
you shall be my mouthpiece. (Jeremiah 15)
Prayer Meditation-O Lord, we complain so often like Jeremiah. Circumstances drag us down- we feel like
we are spinning our wheels. We feel rejected and let down by those we are trying to serve- burned out
and exhausted! Yet Lord You ask for our praise not our whining, fault finding, grumbling and
complaining! Lord let us be still and silent so that You can restore us so that only Your Precious Word
comes through us! Let us be worthy to be Your mouthpieces!
7/28 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- You are Still the Potter and I am Just the Clay!
Thursday of the Seventeenth Week of Ordinary Time
This time of grace
for the whole world is a holy Cause, but you cannot have feet of
clay. To put this into action, your soul must be strong like steel. (Jesus) (Diary Page 73)
Today's Readings:
Then the word of the LORD came to me:
Can I not do to you, house of Israel,
as this potter has done? says the LORD.
Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter,
so are you in my hand, house of Israel. (Jeremiah 18)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord mold me into what You want me to be so my soul can be strong as steel even
if it hurts!
7/29 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Do We Really Believe?
Memorial of Saint Martha
Didnt I suffer to save souls? Believe in Me and adore Me. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 100)
Today's Readings:
Jesus told her,
I am the resurrection and the life;
whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,
and anyone who lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this? (John 11)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord in times of darkness and trial it can be so easy to become discouraged and
afraid and to want to give up. Like St. Martha we may even ask where were You? Yet Lord You stand
90
before us and with us in our pain and You hold out Your Pierced Hands and You ask us do we believe?
Jesus, let us trust in You always in the darkest valleys- You are the resurrection and the life!
7/30 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Turning Pain into Gain
Saturday of the Seventeenth Week of Ordinary Time
The continual desire to do my will is what makes
a saint. Loving me again and again is important. This effort
dispels my pain. What you give me each day is not important.
It is only important that you never stop giving. (Jesus) (Diary Page 86)
Today's Readings:
But I am afflicted and in pain;
let your saving help, O God, protect me.
I will praise the name of God in song,
and I will glorify him with thanksgiving.(Psalm 69)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, some days we are pain and afflicted physically, emotionally, and spiritually
and everything seems hard! Let us continually desire to do Your will doing little things with great love to
dispel the pain in Your Sacred Heart for those who don't. Let us praise Your Name and give You all of our
sufferings for Your Glory!
7/31 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- The Work of Our Hands
Eighteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time
My Kingdom grows in as much as you, mothers, nurture these created souls. You have the greatest
work requiring a heightened sense of responsibility. Be fully aware that I have placed in your hands
the task of leading a multitude of souls to eternal salvation. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 10)
Today's Readings:
Fill us at daybreak with your kindness,
that we may shout for joy and gladness all our days.
And may the gracious care of the LORD our God be ours;
prosper the work of our hands for us!
Prosper the work of our hands! (Psalm 90)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You have placed in our hands an awesome responsibility in our respective
vocations- the responsibility of leading souls to You!. Let us not allow one moment to be wasted in
pursuit of the vain things of this world as our lives can change and can even be taken in an instant! Let
us not build up treasure on Earth but in Heaven! Lord prosper the work of our hands as we enter this
week and make us faithful to Your Kingdom in our families and workplaces!
8/1 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Multiplying Our Loaves and Fishes
Memorial of St. Alphonsus Liguori
Nor will you be able to account for or provide an explanation concerning the abundance of graces
received. This will leave a great many dumbfounded (Jesus) (Compendium Page 35)
Today's Readings:
Five loaves and two fish are all we have here.
Then he said, Bring them here to me,
and he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass.
91
Taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven,
he said the blessing, broke the loaves,
and gave them to the disciples,
who in turn gave them to the crowds.
They all ate and were satisfied, (Matthew 14)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we often feel like we have so little to give. We look at ourselves and we so
nothing in us that You could possibly use. Yet You take our meager offerings and multiply them for Your
Glory! If we would but offer ourselves no matter how little or how broken You will indeed leave nothing
wasted- let us trust You Lord to work in us for Your Glory!
8/2 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Mouth Wash
Tuesday of the Eighteenth Week of Ordinary Time
Be quiet. Do you know who is
truly wise? The one who is silent. I prepared by thirty years of
silence for just three years of activity. Speak only when I give
you the signal. Speak only what I taught you. Few words will
produce abundant fruit. (Jesus) (Diary Page 48)
Today's Readings:
He summoned the crowd and said to them, Hear and understand.
It is not what enters ones mouth that defiles the man;
but what comes out of the mouth is what defiles one. (Matthew 15)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, the mouth can be a dangerous thing- we will account for every word that we
have spoken. Yet all sorts of words come out of our mouths- our words can be weapons of destruction or
instruments in Your Hands. Let us be silent so we can hear Your voice and use our lips to praise You and
encourage others. Put a guard on our mouths so that is You that will speak through us to others today!
8/3 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Come Boldly to the Throne of Grace
Wednesday of the Eighteenth Week of Ordinary Time
The Lord Jesus told me that He had just given me, with wonderful strength, the grace of faith and
confidence, because without these two virtues, no
other virtues can take root in either me, or in any other soul. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 30)
Today's Readings: Then Jesus said to her in reply,
O woman, great is your faith!
Let it be done for you as you wish.
And her daughter was healed from that hour. (Matthew 15)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, may we be like the Caananite Woman! May we come to You with faith and
confidence that You can do all things because You are all good! Let us never give up- even if
circumstances seem hopeless. Let us amaze Jesus today with our faith and trust!
8/4 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Obstacle Course
Memorial of St. John Vianney
92
93
Prayer Meditation- O Lord we do not deserve Your Glory! Here on Earth, You show us only a glimpse,
through a glass darkly as it were, what is waiting for us in Heaven- someday we shall see face to face! O
Lord let us sing of Your Glory always! Eye has not seen and ear has not heard what You have prepared
for those who love You!
8/7 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- People Get Ready!
Nineteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time
Many souls receive
abundant graces but they are not prepared for them and the
graces drain out. (Jesus) (Diary Page 100)
Today's Readings:
Gird your loins and light your lamps
and be like servants who await their masters return from a wedding,
ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks. (Luke 12)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord we act like we have all the time in the world. We receive Your Graces through
Your Word and through Sacraments and in the many blessings of our lives even if we are not faithful to
the Sacraments. Yet we do not properly prepare ourselves for Your coming which could be at any timeYou will call us home to You whether we are here for Your Return or not. Sooner or later we will meet
You face to face! O Lord let our hearts be ready to receive You at any time- let us stay connected by
reading the Word and by prayer and by staying close to Our Mother Mary and Our Mother The Church!
8/8 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Tuning into the Praise Channel
The Lord said, For this great praise, I bless you.
Possibly I misunderstood and was about to erase these words.
The Lord said, Do not do that. I give everything to a soul that
returns my love. (Jesus/Elizabeth) (Diary Page 88)
Today's Readings:
Praise the name of the LORD,
for his name alone is exalted;
His majesty is above earth and heaven. (Psalm 148)
Prayer Meditation: Lord we praise You- we bless Your Name- we love You and adore You! O Lord let us
return love for love- let us hear You whisper in our souls Your everlasting love for us and tune out
everything else!
8/9 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Searching for His Little Ones
Tuesday of the Nineteenth Week of Ordinary Time
Our thoughts must be oneto
save souls from eternal damnation. Do you know how much
my soul suffers because souls are lost? (Jesus) (Diary Page 52)
Today's Readings:
94
95
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, so often we are lacking gratitude- You forgive our sins and we act like it is no
big deal. We do not show the same mercy to others- we feel entitled and spoiled and we have very short
memories. Yet it can be so easy- all You want is our gratitude and trust and to show the same mercy to
others because we never forget that we are but unworthy sinners saved by Your Grace. Lord help us to
remember Your Mercy and may a song of thanksgiving be always on our lips!
8/12 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Covered with Confusion
In spring 1971 I was in total darkness from grave doubts. I
asked the Lord to scatter my confusion. O Lord, if this Cause
is authentic, then why must I live in darkness? (Elizabeth) (Diary Page 119)
Today's Readings:
For I will re-establish my covenant with you,
that you may know that I am the LORD,
that you may remember and be covered with confusion,
and that you may be utterly silenced for shame
when I pardon you for all you have done, says the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 16)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, Your Mercy is so relentless and never lets up- You seek us and pardon us!
Lord sometimes Your ways can cause such confusion in our hearts- confusion about why You love us so
much in the first place as Your love is unchanging no matter what we do and confusion at times about
what it is that You want us to do even if we think we are walking the right path. Are we on the right
track? Lord help us to be still to know always that You are Lord and we are not and Your ways are not
our ways. The antidote for confusion is trust even when we can't see what is in front of us.
8/13 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Little Sacrifices
Saturday of the Nineteenth Week of Ordinary Time
I am happy with this work.
Do not be so ambitious. I am happy with little sacrifices.
You think you will be a saint if you do great things. You are
mistaken. Great things bring glory to you. We will gather small
sacrifices. (Jesus) (Diary Page 57)
Today's Readings:
Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them;
for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. (Matthew 19)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who will humble themselves like
little children. We all want to do big things for You but who is that all really for- us or You? Lord, let us
be content in our littleness as we trust in You and offer our loving little offerings. We treasure the little
homemade gifts our children give to us- You do the same with us, treasuring our little loving efforts to
please You with our sacrifices of praise and trust. Smiling when we don't feel like it- not complainingthese little gifts are precious in Your sight!
8/14 Too much good material today so there will be two Consuming Fire Meditations today- like
St. Therese I choose all!
Today's Consuming Fire Meditation #1- Marathon Training
Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time
To desire requires
sacrifices. A child perseveres in his studies to be an excellent
pupil. The athlete who wants to win accepts every sacrifice.

8/16 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- It is You Who Deals Death and Gives Life (Today's
Responsorial)
Tuesday of the Twentieth Week of Ordinary Time
This stream of water is My grace which purifies, which destroys when need be, or saves and gives
life. It must run because God wills it. (Jesus) (Diary Page 88)
Today's Readings:
How could one man rout a thousand,
or two men put ten thousand to flight,
Unless it was because their Rock sold them
and the LORD delivered them up? (Deuteronomy 32)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, our lives are in Your Hands. We think we are in control but we are far from it.
We have won no victories without You and we cannot be saved without You! You give and You take
away- Your Living Water purifying us every step of the way! Lord we surrender to Your Grace!
8/17 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- It's Five O Clock Somewhere
Wednesday of the Twentieth Week of Ordinary Time
The central goal is the salvation of every soul in the world.(Jesus) (Diary Page 124)
Today's Readings:
Going out about five oclock,
he found others standing around, and said to them,
Why do you stand here idle all day?
They answered, Because no one has hired us.
He said to them, You too go into my vineyard. (Matthew 20)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You want no one to be lost- even the five o'clock laborers, the ones who are
late to Your table. O Lord let us make our efforts to bring those five o'clock souls to You- who have we
not invited? Let us not pick and choose who should come! And if like me Lord, we are the "late" ones
who are paid the same let Your praise be always on our lips in gratitude that You have invited us to the
Wedding Feast of the Lamb- let us not delay!
8/18 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Clearing Out the Dust Bunnies!
Thursday of the Twentieth Week of Ordinary Time
Many souls are like this
altar, allowing dust to gather for years. These souls are gray and
dusty. By their bad example, many, many souls are soiled. They
do not realize this and they avoid what is difficult. (Jesus) (Diary Page 82)
Today's Readings:
I will sprinkle clean water upon you
to cleanse you from all your impurities,
and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you,

8/21 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- May Our Feet Journey Together on the Narrow
Road!
Twenty First Sunday of Ordinary Time
Jesus, I have come here to complain. I am sinful and
you trust me with this matter for the whole world. I am weak
and useless. Please entrust this to a worthy soul. (Elizabeth) (Diary Page 53)
Today's Readings:
So strengthen your drooping hands and your weak knees.
Make straight paths for your feet,
that what is lame may not be disjointed but healed. (Hebrews 12)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, sometimes we feel so unworthy of what You are asking of us! Our knees are
weak, are hands and hearts are drooping, and we fall time and time again! We feel so lame and yet You
promised to walk with us through it all- O Lord may our feet journey together on this narrow road so
that what is disjointed in us will be healed by Your Grace! We are never walking alone so what is there to
fear!
8/22 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Worthy of the Call, Just Like Mama!
Queenship of Mary
Beloved, I am waiting for you with a loving heart. God is calling you with His infinite love. (Jesus)
(Compendium Page 33)
Today's Readings:
We always pray for you,
that our God may make you worthy of his calling
and powerfully bring to fulfillment every good purpose
and every effort of faith,
that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,
and you in him,
in accord with the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians)
Prayer Meditation: O Jesus, You call us for Your Glory! We are Your Children and You want to live
through us for Your Purposes to bring about Your Kingdom! May we give our Fiat, our Yes to You
always- just like Our Blessed Mother, Our Holy Queen! Let us hear the Word of God and keep it just like
Her!
8/23 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- From the Inside Out
Tuesday of the Twenty First Week of Ordinary Time
What should I do? O Lord, do not abandon me. Purify my thoughts and put them in order. (Elizabeth)
(Compendium Page 101)
Today's Readings:
100
101
102
consecrated to Me. May your humility be so great that you radiate goodness and love to all whom
you meet. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 37)
Today's Readings:
For every one who exalts himself will be humbled,
but the one who humbles himself will be exalted. (Luke 14)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You have scattered the proud hearted and have raised up the lowly! Let us
radiate Your goodness and love Lord to all we meet- cast out from us what is in the way of Your Grace!
Let us not be a stumbling block because of our own pride and vanity! Let us sing with Mary- My soul
glorifies the Lord! Like Her let us sing Your praises with thanksgiving and humility because You alone
have done great things!
8/29 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Meditating on the Word!
Memorial of the Passion of St. John the Baptist
The material for my meditation these past months has been one phrase: And the Word became
Flesh. This is an inexhaustible theme and I always meditate on it. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page
29)
Today's Readings:
How I love your law, O LORD!
It is my meditation all the day. (Psalm 119)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, help us to meditate on Your Word all day long- help us to love Your Law of
Love. You are the Living Word made Flesh for us- Our Rescue and Our Redeemer! Help us like Elizabeth
to never tire of pondering what can only be fathomed by the heart and not our human minds! May our
hands gather together in unity Lord as we meditate on Your Saving Word all the day long!
8/30 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Putting on the Mind of Christ
Tuesday of the Twenty Second Week of Ordinary Time
All this gave rise to new struggles, but the Lord enlightened my mind and
guided me step by step. I had to make these sacrifices within my family responsibilities. (Elizabeth)
(Compendium Page 23)
Today's Readings:
For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to counsel him?
But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, help us put on the mind of Christ for we were not given the spirit of the world
but Your Holy Spirit! In our struggles to be faithful in our families and in our work help us to sacrifice in
union with You Lord- let nothing be wasted in Your Saving Mission for souls! Come Holy Spirit, Come by
the power of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!
8/31 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Strength Will Rise as We Wait Upon The Lord!
Wednesday of the Twenty Second Week of Ordinary Time
103
Just abandon yourself to Me. In all things, My Will shall prevail. Be attentive and wait until I give you
the signal to begin. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 120)
Today's Readings:
Our soul waits for the LORD,
who is our help and our shield,
For in him our hearts rejoice;
in his holy name we trust. (Psalm 33)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You are Our Everlasting God, Our Strong Deliverer! We can be so impatient
and it is so hard to wait for what we are asking for in prayer- Lord help us to wait in patient hope and
abandonment, attentive to Your Voice in our souls. May we rejoice and trust that all of Your Promises
are true as we wait in prayer for Your saving help to arrive in all of our circumstances today!
9/1 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Into the Deep
Thursday of the Twenty Second Week in Ordinary Time
He repeated this pledge, I love you much, My Elizabeth. I want this love to penetrate your soul
deeply. I, the Lord, make this confession and I anxiously desire your reciprocal love. Later, He
almost shouted in my soul. Love Me above everything! (Jesus/Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 42)
Today's Readings:
After he had finished speaking, he said to Simon,
Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.
Simon said in reply,
Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing,
but at your command I will lower the nets. (Luke 5)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You call us into the deep, Into the great unknown even when we are tired and
burned out and ready to just get some rest. You supply our needs and multiply our blessings when we
are ready to give up and all that You ask is that we give you one thing- our everything! Lord, open our
hearts so that we can obey Your call- to drop our nets and follow You into the deep even when oceans
rise!
9/2 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Pour Out Your New Wine Lord into Our Souls!
Friday of the Twenty Second Week of Ordinary Time
My adorable Jesus, what are You doing with such an unworthy person? With an inspiration as soft
as a sigh, He poured out in my heart the feeling that, at that moment, in a direct soaring, He was
drawing my soul to the infinite love of His Divine Being. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 33)
Today's Readings:
Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins.
Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins,
and it will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined.
Rather, new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins.
And no one who has been drinking old wine desires new,
for he says, The old is good.
104
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You tell us that new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins. The wineskins
of our souls become fresh by repentance and when we have humble and contrite hearts! Lord help us
desire this new wine to be poured into our souls as unworthy as we are!
9/3 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Fools for Christ
Memorial of St. Gregory the Great
I am either a fool and a liar or what is happening in me is true. If it is true, then I cannot stand around
with my arms folded while souls are perishing. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 151)
Today's Readings:
When ridiculed, we bless; when persecuted, we endure;
when slandered, we respond gently.
We have become like the worlds rubbish, the scum of all,
to this very moment. (1 Corinthians 4)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, what is foolish to the world is wise in Your eyes! Either You are the Truth,
The Way, and The Life or we are deluded- and how often the world sees us as deluded indeed or even
worse as St. Paul tells us! But we can't stand around waiting for the world to love us and worrying about
human respect- souls perish while we drag our feet! O Lord let us be fools for You- use us to shame the
wise for Your Glory!
9/4 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- The Gracious Care of the Lord
Twenty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
And so, for my little strength, the work was excessive. I felt that I could not carry on. I begged
the Lord in His kindness to give me strength. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 9)
Today's Readings:
Fill us at daybreak with your kindness,
that we may shout for joy and gladness all our days.
And may the gracious care of the LORD our God be ours;
prosper the work of our hands for us!
Prosper the work of our hands! (Psalm 90)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord we become so easily overwhelmed by the demands of life- we are helpless
without You! We fail in our own strength! Yet Your Mercies are new each morning - may Your Gracious
Care indeed be ours! Prosper us to perform the works You have set before us for Your Glory Lord!
9/5 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- His Outstretched Hands
Monday of the Twenty Third Week of Ordinary Time
My hair is soaked in blood. My feet are chapped from having followed you. I constantly stretch out My
hand asking for help. I go from heart to heart and I receive only a small donation. Then they quickly close
the door of their heart and I can hardly cast a glance inside. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 125)
Today's Readings:
Then Jesus said to them,
I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the sabbath
rather than to do evil,
to save life rather than to destroy it?
Looking around at them all, he then said to him,
Stretch out your hand.
He did so and his hand was restored. (Luke 6)
105
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You ask us to stretch out our hands to You in faith and trust for healing- to do
good for us and not evil, to save our lives, not to destroy us! And You do the same for us- Your Hand
always stretched out to us asking for us to open our hearts to You. You reach out to us in blessing and
You stretched out Your Healing Hands for us on the Cross for love of us! Lord let us not harden and close
our hearts to Your presence in Your Word, Your Eucharistic Presence, and in the sick and the poor
around us.
9/6 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- His Healing Touch
Tuesday of the Twenty Third Week of Ordinary Time
Did you enjoy the hymn? I was the One who touched you by the melody. This is the hymn which we
like the most. I use it to praise you because you so much love the silence of the church where I
dwell. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 44)
Today's Readings:
Everyone in the crowd sought to touch him
because power came forth from him and healed them all. (Luke 6)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord Jesus- just a touch of Your favor turns any situation around! You alone have
the power to heal us of all of our infirmities! Today Lord You reach out with Your Healing Touch in Your
Word, in Your Sacraments, in the silence, through the words of others, in nature, in our circumstances,
and even in the songs we sing to You in praise! Lord let us always seek You in our everyday lives trusting
that You call us to You in every circumstance!
9/7 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- In a World of Woe
Wednesday of the Twenty Third Week of Ordinary Time
They avoid what is difficult, and as the years go on, their soul becomes grey and covered with dust.
Woe to them, because through example they influence others. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 127)
But woe to you who are rich,
for you have received your consolation.
But woe to you who are filled now,
for you will be hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now,
for you will grieve and weep.
Woe to you when all speak well of you,
for their ancestors treated the false
prophets in this way. (Luke 6)
Prayer Meditation- Lord we live in a world of woe- woes that are of our own making. We love comfort,
escape, food, drink, entertainment, the esteem of others as if all of these things could possibly fill the God
sized hole in our souls! Lord we lay it all down- empty us so that we can be filled with You and You
alone- our one true Love!
9/8 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Walking with Our Mother
Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
106
Let us set out, my little Carmelite, together with Saint Joseph. You must walk with us along
Bethlehems dark roads covered with mist. You have to seek a refuge for my Flame of Love which is
Jesus Christ himself. Do you want to come with us? Because it is now that we are leaving to carry
on my Flame of Love. You will receive strength and grace from us. (Mary) (Compendium Page 60)
Today's Readings:
All this took place to fulfill
what the Lord had said through the prophet:
Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,
which means God is with us. (Matthew 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You chose to come to this world as a little child- Mary's child so that You
could live among us! Our Blessed Mother gave Her Fiat to Your Salvation Plan without knowing the
details or how it would all work out- Lord we thank You for Her trusting and obedient Heart filled with
humility and docility! Our Mother today asks us to walk with Her as she continues the mission she
accepted at the Annunciation- to be Our Mother in the order of Grace and to bring us to Jesus! Let us
work with Our Holy Mother- the new Ark of the Covenant to bring the souls of our loved ones to You
through this special time of Mercy and Grace- let us work with Her to spread Her Flame of Love which is
Jesus Himself so that hearts would open to You in these dark times!
9/9 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Just Do It!
Memorial of Saint Peter Claver
You no longer doubt that I have chosen you to be a worker of Redemption. Many missionary priests
cannot do more than you do. Your constantly renewed sacrifices and unceasing efforts are most pleasing
to Me. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 89)
Today's Readings:
Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race,
but only one wins the prize?
Run so as to win.
Every athlete exercises discipline in every way.
They do it to win a perishable crown,
but we an imperishable one. (1 Corinthians 9)
Prayer Meditation: Lord we are all running the race to win the prize- the imperishable crown of Your
Glory! This is not a sprint, it is a marathon and we win by never ever giving up in our efforts to be saints!
Yes You have called us all to be great saints- especially in these times- let us renew our sacrifices and
efforts no matter how small they may seem in the natural knowing that You will multiply these efforts
for the salvation of souls. Let us now grow lazy or weary in doing good!
9/10 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- We Won't Be Shaken
Saturday of the Twenty Third Week of Ordinary Time
Whoever serve Me, My little one, cannot be a reed bending in the wind. She must persevere firmly at
My side with an unshakable determination. Your soul cannot bow to anything that does not serve
Me. Again, My little one, I ask that you persevere with Me. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 118)
107
Today's Readings:
I will show you what someone is like who comes to me,
listens to my words, and acts on them.
That one is like a man building a house,
who dug deeply and laid the foundation on rock;
when the flood came, the river burst against that house
but could not shake it because it had been well built. (Luke 6)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, help us look like the ones who come to You- who build their lives on the Rock
of Your Word! Help us not to bow to anything that is not of You! Lord with You at our sides we will not
be shaken in the eye of the storm- help us to persevere in any trial or tribulation confident that You are
our sure foundation!
9/10 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Mercifully Treated
Twenty Fourth Sunday of Ordinary Time
Truly, You do not despise me. Because I am a sinner, You double Your strength in me. What goodness,
what limitless compassion You have for a repentant sinner. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 45)
Today's Readings:
Beloved:
I am grateful to him who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord,
because he considered me trustworthy
in appointing me to the ministry.
I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and arrogant,
but I have been mercifully treated
because I acted out of ignorance in my unbelief.
Indeed, the grace of our Lord has been abundant,
along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 1)
Prayer Meditation: Lord we deserve Your Wrath because we are indeed prodigal children who think we
know what we want and we deserve! How many times have we rolled in the pig pen rather than admit
You are right? How many times have we acted arrogantly in our ignorance and unbelief? Yet Your
Compassion and Patience are limitless and You reward us richly for any move toward Your Mercy! Let
us be grateful and may You consider us trustworthy in living the ministry You have given us!
9/12 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- We Are Living Hosts
Optional Memorial of The Holy Name of Mary
I give Myself. After receiving My Precious Blood, examine your souls and become aware of the
exhilaration that the power of My Precious Blood brings about in you. Do not be so insensitive. Let
not routine lead you to my holy table. To the degree that you remain united to Me, My Precious
Blood will burn sin out of your souls. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 119)
Today's Readings:
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,
you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, let us not be insensitive to Your Real Presence within us- let us never present
ourselves to You at Mass in a routine manner! Lord You are living in us- we are living Hosts! You are
108
truly Emmanuel- God with us! Help us to be thankful for the daily gift of Your Very Self and help us to
stay united to Your Sacred Heart throughout the day as we serve You in others! Let us proclaim Your
Holy Name and the Holy Name of Mary as we ask to be enfolded in Your Two Hearts!
9/13 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- God Has Visited His People
Memorial of St. John Chrysotom
Many times, Jesus surprised Elizabeth by His unexpected visits: When I arrived home (this
happened on the threshold, even before having entered), suddenly and unexpectedly, the Lord
Jesus was at my side. I did not see Him. He put His hand on my shoulder, touched my right shoulder
twice and said, My little one, persevere by My side and suffer with Me. (Elizabeth/Jesus)
(Compendium Page 52)
Today's Readings:
Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, exclaiming,
A great prophet has arisen in our midst,
and God has visited his people. (Luke 7)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You visit Your People in our sufferings and grief and in our everyday lives!
You reach out and touch us- You speak to us in the quiet of our souls. You speak to us in Your Word and
You visit us in the most profound way in The Holy Eucharist! O Lord may we make ourselves still enough
to know that You are there and welcome Your Visitation always into our hearts!
9/14 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- For God So Loved the World
Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross
Did I not shed all the drops of My Blood for all of you? My Will is to save everyone. (Jesus) (Compendium
Page 130)
Today's Readings:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him. (John 3)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You so loved the world that You gave Your only Begotten Son so that we can
have everlasting life! You did not come to condemn us but to save us! How can we not take up our
crosses and follow You- only You have the Words of Eternal Life!
9/15 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Standing by The Cross with Mary
Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows
Only a mother can truly share my sorrows. I am the Mother of Sorrows, I suffer greatly because of
the souls being lost. I am tortured in pain as I grieve for the suffering of my Divine Son. Never
despise any tiredness. Be my eternal companion helping me bear my sufferings. This is what I ask
of you. (Mary) (Compendium Page 10)
Today's Readings:
109
110
what can flesh do against us as we strive to build Your Kingdom here! Come Holy Spirit- Come by the
Power of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!
9/18 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- From Small Things Great Things One Day Come
Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Suffer with courage, perseverance and a sincere abandonment. Dont
ponder if the suffering is large or small. All that you can still do for Me on earth is meritorious.
Time is short, little sister, and never returns. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 19)
Today's Readings:
The person who is trustworthy in very small matters
is also trustworthy in great ones;
and the person who is dishonest in very small matters
is also dishonest in great ones.
If, therefore, you are not trustworthy with dishonest wealth,
who will trust you with true wealth?
If you are not trustworthy with what belongs to another,
who will give you what is yours? (Luke 16)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You give us many small things every day and many opportunities to be
faithful- are we watching and listening? In that smile to others when we feel sick or sad, in small
sacrifices for others even if it is just yielding a parking spot. In being patient and calm when the stress of
every day hits- when we are quiet when we really just want to tell somebody off or when we accept with
grace all of life's trials giving our little Yeses to Your Will. All these small things done with love for Jesus
and to save souls- Lord let us hear and see You always in all circumstances!
9/19 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Shine Through Us
Monday of the Twenty Fifth Week of Ordinary Time
Now, only beauty shines forth from you. Although you feel the misery of your soul, others will not.
The richness of My Divinity will radiate from your soul and you will be able to distribute it to others. In
one word, I have made you an administrator of My graces. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 56)
Today's Readings:
No one who lights a lamp conceals it with a vessel
or sets it under a bed;
rather, he places it on a lampstand
so that those who enter may see the light. (Luke 8)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You want to shine through us so that others would see You and not us! You
want Your Beauty to shine through us like a light on a lamp stand so that those we meet may see Your
Light! Lord make us Your instruments- little lamps illuminating the way to You no matter how we may
feel!
9/20 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Grace Streams Down and Covers Me
Memorial of Saints Andrew Kim Tae-gon, Priest, and Paul Chong Ha-sang, and Companions,
Martyrs
As He was saying those words, a powerful stream of His graces entered my soul. The Lord Jesus
asked if I understood. With His enlightened words, He poured out the wonderful grace of the Holy
Spirit, the Spirit of Power, and the wonderful light of the Holy Spirit enlightened my soul. (Elizabeth)
(Compendium Page 54)
111
Today's Readings:
Like a stream is the kings heart in the hand of the LORD;
wherever it pleases him, he directs it. (Proverbs 21)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You hold our hearts and You direct our steps. You pour out Your Grace- by
Your Word and Your Stripes we are healed! Lord pour out Your Living Water, Your Holy Spirit into our
day today- take our hearts wherever it pleases You !

9/26 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- The God Who Gives and Takes Away
Monday of the Twenty Sixth Week of Ordinary Time
Maternal dignity is at the
same time a vocation saturated with sufferings, and that is what I share with you. I thank you,
my little one, for your participation that is continual and filled with sacrifices. I, as a loving
Mother, can assure you of your heavenly reward. (Mary) (Compendium Page 10)
Today's Readings:
Naked I came forth from my mothers womb,
and naked shall I go back again.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
blessed be the name of the LORD! (Job 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You are the God who gives and takes away! In our respective vocations Lord
we will have sufferings and crosses. At all times, Lord, help us to praise You in whatever storm we are
in- knowing that You are with us and You will never let us go! Let us ask for the intercession always of
Our Blessed Mother who has shared our sufferings and who prays for us without ceasing!
9/27 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Journeying to Jerusalem
Memorial of Saint Vincent de Paul
Remember what I told you. You must set out on the dark, muddy, noisy and distressing road to
Bethlehem to seek a refuge for my Flame of Love. (Mary) (Compendium Page 85)
Today's Readings:
When the days for Jesus to be taken up were fulfilled,
he resolutely determined to journey to Jerusalem. (Luke 9)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, the road ahead in our lives can seem dark, noisy, distressing- a big muddy
mess! We know we are journeying to You but we have no idea half the time how we are getting there
and even if we will get there at the end of the day. Like Frodo in Lord of the Rings- we do not know the
way! But like Mary and Joseph we hold on to our trust in You because that is the only way to walk this
broken road- Our Blessed Mother knows what it is to walk by faith and not by sight! And so we take Her
Hand with our eyes firmly fixed on You Lord because You are the only Way to the wedding feast in the
Heavenly Jerusalem!
9/28 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- All That We Can't Leave Behind
Wednesday of the Twenty Sixth Week of Ordinary Time
Ever since
then, I heard Jesus demand many times in my soul. However, I did not write it down. But
rather, I tried to remove from my mind the idea to leave all behind. (Elizabeth) (Diary Page 13)
Today's Readings:
And another said, I will follow you, Lord,
but first let me say farewell to my family at home.
Jesus answered him, No one who sets a hand to the plow
and looks to what was left behind is fit for the Kingdom of God. (Luke 9)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, how many times do we try to remove from our minds what it is You are
asking of us. The enemy of our souls whispers to us so many excuses- so many thorns choking His Grace
in our souls! Worries, fears, anxieties, demands of our state in life- Yes Lord but not yet we say! Lord
help us to truly discern Your call in our lives- when to stay and when to go because we do not want to
114
miss the time of our visitation! Let us plow forward for the Kingdom without looking back because our
eyes are fixed on You!
9/29 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Angels Among Us
Feast of St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, Archangels
After returning from Holy Mass, I began to do my housework. My holy guardian angel asked me to
go and adore the Most Holy Trinity. At his request, I went into my little house at the foot of the
garden. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 68)
Today's Readings:
Do you believe
because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree?
You will see greater things than this.
And he said to him, Amen, amen, I say to you,
you will see heaven opened
and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man. (John 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, we cannot see Your Glory on this Earth- we see as through a glass darkly! We
have faith in what is unseen! Yet Your Holy Angels inspire us and guard us each day- they want to bring
us to Heaven! O Lord thank You for Your Holy Angels- let us look forward to that happy day when we
will be singing with the angels around Your Throne of Grace!
9/30 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
Memorial of Saint Jerome
I know your qualities and thats why My Divine Providence ordered everything to make you ready to
communicate My message to the world. It is from the family sanctuary that all of you set out for the
difficult struggles of life. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 10)
Today's Readings:
Truly you have formed my inmost being;
you knit me in my mothers womb.
I give you thanks that I am fearfully, wonderfully made;
wonderful are your works.(Psalm 139)
Prayer Meditation: Lord You made us for Yourself and You know everything about us- nothing is hidden
from Your sight! You have a plan for all of us and You have placed us exactly where You want us to be! In
the stress and uncertainty of life, in the seeming failures and disappointments and sad times we can
know with certainty that You are wonderful in all of Your Works! Thank You Lord for Your Plan for my
life and Your care for me!
10/1 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Revealed to the Little Ones
Memorial of St. Therese of the Child Jesus
You know, My little one, even here on earth you receive a foretaste of Heavens delights. As I
already said, this is your reward for the suffering which have eternal value. (Jesus) (Compendium
Page 54)
Today's Readings:
At that very moment he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,
I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
115
116
117
temptations of this world- like we will never progress in the spiritual life, round and round the same
mountains over and over again like the Israelites in the desert! And yet You only want to fill us with
good things if we come to You as Your little children clamoring for Your Grace! Lord cast away any spirit
of fear and doubt and fill us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit- power, love, and self control! Only You can
lead us to all Truth!
10/7 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- I'm with Jesus!
Memorial of Our Lady of The Rosary
Let Me give you abundant graces which are stored up in the immeasurable love of My Heart. May
our souls be in harmony. May our hearts beat to the same rhythm. Draw many souls to Me. May our
hands gather in unity. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 40)
Today's Readings: Whoever is not with me is against me,
and whoever does not gather with me scatters. (Luke 11)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord- we see Your works all around us- the beauty of nature, the miracle of life,
Your Goodness and Your never failing Love! And yet like the crowd we murmur and complain and
question Your authority!. Yet the Kingdom of God is indeed upon us- You are the Strong Man, the only
One who can set us free- Lord let us be with You! Let us receive the Abundant Graces that flow from
Your pierced side and let us gather with You in faith and trust in Your Mercy! Let us say today and
everyday I'm with Jesus!
10/8 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Hearing and Pondering the Word
Saturday of the Twenty Seventh Week of Ordinary Time
I sought only silence so I could continually hear the Lords voice, because from that day on, He was
the One speaking to me. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 54)
Today's Readings:
While Jesus was speaking,
a woman from the crowd called out and said to him,
Blessed is the womb that carried you
and the breasts at which you nursed.
He replied, Rather, blessed are those
who hear the word of God and observe it. (Luke 11)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord it can be so hard to hear Your Word in all the noise. To do so we must take
time to read Your Word and study it and also to spend time with You at Mass and in front of the Blessed
Sacrament. Lord for us to observe Your Word we have to know it and know You deep down in our
hearts! We need to ponder like Our Blessed Mother the Word spoken to us and like Her believe it with
all our hearts! Only when we put on the mind of Christ through prayer and meditation on Your saving
Word and through the Sacraments can we be doers of the Word as well as hearers of the Word. Blessed
Mother pray with us as we seek His Word!
10/9 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Eucharist Means Thanksgiving!
Twenty Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time
How great is that miracle that is repeated every day and washes again my soul with His Precious
Blood and nourishes it by the power of His Sacred Body. Thanks to Him, I can keep the ruses of the
Evil One far from my soul. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 103)
Today's Readings:
Jesus said in reply,
Ten were cleansed, were they not?
Where are the other nine?
118
119
Write down My words, or better, My request to those who are indifferent; there is no progress
without sacrifice. I am not happy with a sterile piety. It is like a tree that produces no fruit. (Jesus)
(Compendium Page 124)
Today's Readings:
He is like a tree
planted near running water,
That yields its fruit in due season,
and whose leaves never fade.
Whatever he does, prospers. (Psalm 1)
Prayer Meditation: Lord God, it is hard to face sometimes what kind of tree we have become. Are we
producing fruit- that Galatians 5 fruit of love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, generosity,
faithfulness, gentleness, self-control? Or like the Pharisees in today's Gospel has our piety become sterile
and indifferent- going through the motions? O Lord, let us plant ourselves in Your Living Water- the
water of Your Word and Your Sacraments and follow Your Commands so that we can truly live in the
Spirit and produce good fruit no matter what season we may be in.
10/13 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Every Spiritual Blessing
Thursday of the Twenty Eighth Week of Ordinary Time
All who feel with Me and whose thoughts are My thoughts will receive this participation. Whoever lives
this way can only bless. This blessing increases the effect of My work of Redemption. This effect makes
you saints. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 71)
Today's Readings:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens,
as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world,
to be holy and without blemish before him. (Ephesians 1)
Prayer Meditation: Lord God You have given us every spiritual blessing in Our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ and in Your One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church! We have The Word, The Sacraments, The
Rock of Your Authority, Our Blessed Mother, and all the Angels and Saints! The most incredible blessing
of all is The Holy Eucharist! Lord through the Eucharist worthily received we receive Your Very Self!
Today Lord let us put on the mind of Christ and work in union with the Blessed Trinity- let us participate
fully in the work of Redemption because You have chosen us to be holy and without blemish. We can
only do this in union with Christ who takes the drops of our poor offerings and consumes them in the
ocean of His Graces poured out for all mankind!
10/14 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Worth More Than the Sparrows
Friday of the Twenty Eighth Week of Ordinary Time
My adorable Jesus, what are You doing with such an unworthy person? (Elizabeth) (Compendium
Page 33)
Today's Readings:
Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins?
Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God.
Even the hairs of your head have all been counted.
Do not be afraid.
You are worth more than many sparrows. (Luke 12)
120
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You know the number of every hair on our heads- not one of us has escaped
Your Notice. You created us to love and serve You in this life and be with You forever in the next. We are
worth far more than the sparrows! Lord so many times we are anxious and afraid and feel so alone- we
have not because we ask not. We wonder what would the Lord of the Universe want to do with us? Yet
You fly to our littleness and brokenness and You hold us all in the shadow of Your Wings if only we
would put our trust in You! Jesus we trust in You and we are never out of reach of Your Love and Mercy!
10/15 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Open the Eyes of My Heart Lord
Memorial of St. Teresa of Jesus
All this gave rise to new struggles, but the Lord enlightened my mind and
guided me step by step. I had to make these sacrifices within my family responsibilities. (Elizabeth)
(Compendium Page 23)
Today's Readings:
May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened,
that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call,
what are the riches of glory
in his inheritance among the holy ones,
and what is the surpassing greatness of his power
for us who believe. (Ephesians 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, life can be such a struggle and it can be so hard to know where our hope lies
in the day to day. We can feel so lost- O Lord enlighten our minds and our hearts and guide us to the
hope of Your call on our lives- to our inheritance as believers in Christ Jesus for it is Your surpassing
greatness in the Holy Spirit who lives in us! The same power that rose Jesus from the grave lives in us!
Lord guide step by step according to our state in life!
10/16 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- An Inconvenient Truth
Twenty Ninth Sunday of Ordinary Time
Speech is a gift of God, and one day, we must give an account of our words. Through words, souls
communicate with one another. Also through words, people get to know us.
Therefore, we have no right to wrap ourselves in silence. We also must remember that we are
responsible for every spoken word. Therefore, we should walk and live in Gods presence, pondering
each word that we say. Our Father gave the gift of speech and you must make use of your gift. Do not
be afraid to speak! (Jesus) (Compendium Page 72)
Today's Readings:
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus,
who will judge the living and the dead,
and by his appearing and his kingly power:
proclaim the word;
be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient;
convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching. (2 Timothy 3)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord we will give an account of our words- how have we used our gift of speech?
Do we proclaim Your Word whether it is convenient or inconvenient? Are we afraid it may cost to speak
about our faith? Lord we can only discern when it is right to speak by walking and living in Your
presence and pondering what we say. Then in union with You we can trust that You will be with us when
we speak Your Word of encouragement or even reprimand so let us not be afraid to speak the Truth in
love!
121
10/17 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Saved by Grace For Such a Time As This
Memorial of St. Ignatius of Antioch
Encountering no resistance, the Flame will illumine souls with a gentle light. Those accepting the Flame
of Love will be intoxicated by the abundance of graces and they will proclaim everywhere, as I said
before, that such a torrent of grace has never been granted since the Word became Flesh. (Mary)
(Compendium Page 58)
Today's Readings:
But God, who is rich in mercy,
because of the great love he had for us,
even when we were dead in our transgressions,
brought us to life with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
raised us up with him,
and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus,
that in the ages to come
he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace
in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord we are saved not by ourselves but by Your Amazing Grace. For we were dead
in our transgressions and You brought us to life! Lord Your Holy Spirit though St. Paul promised that in
the ages to come You would show the immeasurable riches of Your Grace. Your Grace remains from age
to age and thank You Lord that in this time of particular darkness You are pouring out a torrent of Grace
to those who would cooperate through the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! Spread the
effect of Grace of Thy Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary over all humanity! Lord You are
rich in Mercy and You desire all to be raised with You in the Heavens!
10/18 Todays Consuming Fire Meditation- Living in Truth
Do you know what makes the soul to live in truth? The continuous exercise of prayer and sacrifice.
Without these, your souls are sick and will die. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 115)
Todays Readings:
The LORD is just in all his ways
and holy in all his works.
The LORD is near to all who call upon him,
to all who call upon him in truth. (Psalm 145)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, we want to live in the Truth- Your Truth because You are Truth itself. We call
upon You and we know You are near to us always! Lord so many of us stay away from the very means
that make us well and give us life in You! Lord teach us to pray always and to sacrifice all of our
moments to You for the salvation of souls! May our feet journey together on the way of Life as we stay
connected to You in prayer, sacrifice of our daily duties, and through the Sacraments of Your Church
including attending The Holy Mass as often as we can so that it is Your life living in us!
122
123
124
125
Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm
against the tactics of the Devil.
For our struggle is not with flesh and blood
but with the principalities, with the powers,
with the world rulers of this present darkness,
with the evil spirits in the heavens.
Therefore, put on the armor of God,
that you may be able to resist on the evil day (Ephesians 6)
Prayer Meditation: Lord, every day is a battle! We fight not flesh and blood but the enemy of our souls!
Lord may we do a daily wardrobe check- helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth,
shoes of peace, shield of faith to fight off the darts of the enemy, and the sword of the Spirit which is
Your Word spoken out loud! Train our hands for battle Lord- and may our hands hold firmly to the Holy
Rosary, the weapon for our times!
10/28 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- The Dwelling Place of God
Feast of Saints Simon and Jude
I accept and I give My unending blessing to your great will to love. Even more, I will take one more
step. Beginning today, your little dwelling will be My continual sanctuary. I will honor this little
dwelling that is so dear to you with My continual presence. I have rented your small house. Adore
Me and make reparation here. I will remain next to you while you live here on earth. (Jesus)
(Compendium Page 73)
Today's Readings:
Brothers and sisters:
You are no longer strangers and sojourners,
but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones
and members of the household of God,
built upon the foundation of the Apostles and prophets,
with Christ Jesus himself as the capstone.
Through him the whole structure is held together
and grows into a temple sacred in the Lord;
in him you also are being built together
into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord it can be so hard to believe that You would choose to dwell in us! We are not
strangers but members of Your household! Lord come into our hearts and our homes and stay near to us
while we live here on Earth! Let our Heaven with You begin here on Earth living in unity with You!
10/29 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- For Me to Live is Christ- To Die is Gain
I have already said that this is how it will be until your death. Just as night follows day, so light and
darkness will alternate in your soul.(Jesus) (Compendium Page 21)
Today's Readings:
For to me life is Christ, and death is gain.
If I go on living in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me.
And I do not know which I shall choose.
I am caught between the two .(Philippians 1)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, our lives can be a roller coaster- up and down, light and dark. Nothing comes to
us that does not come from Your Hand. Lord we only have this life to let You live through us- to labor in
Your vineyard- yet we know that when our lives are over we gain Heaven where we will behold You for
126
all Eternity if we are but faithful! Lord God please help us whether we are struggling in darkness or
walking in Your Marvelous Light to live for You in each moment! All of our moments belong to You!
10/30 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Seeking and Saving the Lost
Thirty First Sunday in Ordinary Time
I am the Mother of Sorrows, I suffer greatly because of the souls being lost. I am tortured in pain as I
grieve for the suffering of my Divine Son. Never despise any tiredness. Be my eternal companion helping
me bear my sufferings. This is what I ask of you. (Mary) (Compendium Page 10)
Today's Readings:
And Jesus said to him,
Today salvation has come to this house
because this man too is a descendant of Abraham.
For the Son of Man has come to seek
and to save what was lost. (Luke 19)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord so many are being lost in our day and time- we can feel so helpless! Yet Lord
You have come to seek and save the lost- You love all of our family members and friends even more than
we do! So let us not grow weary in doing good- in prayers and sacrifices in union with Our Mother Mary
so that hearts would be open to receive Your Grace. Then salvation will indeed come to the homes of the
broken. Come Holy Spirit- come by the means of the power of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart
of Mary!
10/31 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- He Must Increase
Monday of the Thirty First Week of Ordinary Time
Through your smallness and ignorance, and above all through your humility, we want to put our Holy
Cause into action through you. Be careful, do not let vainglory come near. That is why I am bringing it to
your attention: be very humble, work hard at it. In this way, your efforts will come together. (Mary)
(Compendium Page 84)
Today's Readings:
Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory;
rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves,
each looking out not for his own interests,
but also everyone for those of others. (Philippians 2)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, it is so easy to get carried away when we try to do big things for You! Let us
be careful of not falling into vanity and self absorption in the things we do but help us to serve You in
others! Let them see You and not us today- help us to stay little children stilled and quieted and secure
in the Immaculate Heart of our Blessed Mother! Purify our intentions Lord- increase in us this day!
11/1 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Be a Saint- What Else is There?
All Saint's Day
From this point forward, you will fight an uninterrupted struggle against the demands of the body
pulling strongly towards the earth and the inner desires of your soul longing for heaven. It is by resisting
them constantly and by confronting them that you will remain in possession of the Spirit of Love.
(Jesus) (Compendium Page 21)
Today's Readings:
Who can ascend the mountain of the LORD?
or who may stand in his holy place?
127
128
129
Prayer Meditation: Lord all are alive to You- life is not ended but changed! Our life here is but a journey
to life eternal with You! Lord may we stay in faith- the living faith without which we cannot please You!
Lord may we serve no one but You as You pour out Your abundant graces on those who love You both
now and for all eternity!
11/7 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Mustard Seed Faith
Monday of the Thirty Second Week of Ordinary Time
Little by little, I distanced myself from God. The continuous task to survive consumed my soul. After
a long battle, my spiritual life faded. Even my faith itself was endangered. (Elizabeth) (Compendium
Page 14)
Today's Readings:
And the Apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith.
The Lord replied, If you have faith the size of a mustard seed,
you would say to this mulberry tree,
Be uprooted and planted in the sea, and it would obey you. (Luke 17)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we can so easily fall away from faith. Life distracts us constantly and life is a
battle that wears us down. Little by little we stop praying on a day to day basis. We are tossed about on
the seas of life and we stop seeking Your Face in our everyday lives. And yet You have promised us that
if we have even the smallest amount of faith we can indeed uproot the sin in our lives! The key is
allowing this tiny faith to lead us to repentance and forgiveness- we are not alone but You are with us
every moment of our lives! It is by faith and trust that we place all in Your Hands and hear Your Voice in
Your Word and in Your Sacraments- let us run to the Throne of Mercy and tell Jesus about anything that
is holding us back from Him!
11/8 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Women of Courage
Saint Elizabeth of The Trinity
Tuesday of the Thirty Second Week of Ordinary Time
He (Satan) just wants me to live a normal life. People are going to think that I am an eccentric bigot; that
I am foolish because my dress, my food, my enjoyments, and the way I treat others is not like other
people. (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 99)
Today's Readings:
Similarly, older women should be reverent in their behavior,
not slanderers, not addicted to drink,
teaching what is good, so that they may train younger women
to love their husbands and children,
to be self-controlled, chaste, good homemakers,
under the control of their husbands,
so that the word of God may not be discredited. (Titus 2)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, the world wants to pull us, especially women away from You and to the
broad way of "doing our own thing" To conform to this world and this age- to live it up and live for
ourselves- the good life! How many years Lord wasted along the way- how many detours off the narrow
road to the broad road of "having it all". Lord thank You for the broken road that led me straight to You!
Following You Lord may make us stand out from the crowd these days- praying for our families,
130
standing up for life, avoiding the noise in our culture to hear Your Voice , loving our husbands and
children above our own needs may not be popular but we are dearly loved daughters of the King! Lord
may we be women of God who lead our daughters to You!
11/9 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- An Ever- Present Help
Feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica in Rome
Unite your thoughts with Me so our hearts can beat to the same rhythm. Do not look to the right or
the left. Look only into My eyes. That will invite you to be recollected and help you to obtain the
victory for the success of My work of Redemption. (Compendium Page 50)
Today's Readings:
God is our refuge and our strength,
an ever-present help in distress.
Therefore, we fear not, though the earth be shaken
and mountains plunge into the depths of the sea. (Psalm 46)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord You are our refuge and our strength- an ever present help in time of trouble!
Lord help us not to look to the right or the left but only into Your Eyes! We have nothing to fear though
the Earth be shaken because You will never leave us!
131
132
Prayer Meditation: Lord You have told us, ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and
the door will be opened to you! We believe Your Promises are true! You are always passing by- You are
but a cry of the heart away- let us call Your name boldly and ask for our heart's desires in complete
trust!
11/15 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Jesus is Knocking at the Door of Your Heart
I constantly stretch out My hand asking for help. I go from heart to heart and I receive only a small
donation. Then they quickly close the door of their heart and I can hardly cast a glance inside.
(Jesus) (Compendium Page 125)
Today's Readings:
Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
then I will enter his house and dine with him,
and he with me. (Revelations 3)
Prayer Meditation: Lord You knock always at the door of our hearts! Yet we keep You in our little "God
box". We let You in briefly on a Sunday and then we don't give You a second glance as we go on with our
busy lives! Yet You want to live with us and dine with us! You want to live every moment of our lives in
us- in unity! There is not a single detail of our lives that You do not want to share with us! Lord, help us
not to block Your Grace but to let Your Mercy come in like a rushing wind- blow apart what stands in
Your Way today Lord!
11/16 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Faithful in Small Things
Wednesday of the Thirty Third Week of Ordinary Time
You are a small instrument, just like the little match that you hold in your hand. Do not be surprised
by what I tell you. With one strike of the match, I will enkindle in millions of souls the Flame of Love
of My Mother. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 92)
Today's Readings: The first came forward and said,
Sir, your gold coin has earned ten additional ones.
He replied, Well done, good servant!
You have been faithful in this very small matter;
take charge of ten cities. (Luke 19)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we are the smallest of Your instruments and yet if we are faithful and
trustworthy You will grow Your Kingdom through us! Let us not bury our talents in the ground but let us
leave nothing on the table as we use the gifts You have given us for Your Glory!
11/17 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Don't Miss the Time of Your Visitation
Memorial of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary
You can now recognize that I gave you peace not because the absolution was truly valid, but rather
through a command of your confessor. If you had not accepted this command, your soul would have
been shipwrecked once and for all. (Jesus) (Compendium Page 36)
Today's Readings:
For the days are coming upon you
when your enemies will raise a palisade against you;
they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides.
They will smash you to the ground and your children within you,
and they will not leave one stone upon another within you
because you did not recognize the time of your visitation. (Luke 19)
133
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, Your Love is here, Your Love is now! We have only today to love and worship
You! To trust and obey! To listen to Your Voice through Your Word and through Your Sacraments
including through our confessors. O Lord let us not miss the time of our visitation- protect us from all of
our enemies including our own selves that would hem us in and encircle us and would put a wall
between our souls and Your Grace!
11/18 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Don't Give Up Sweets!
Friday of the Thirty Third Week of Ordinary Time
After being there for a long time, I was getting cold. I wanted to go home. Then I heard His voice deep
within my soul. Do not go yet. I remained. A few minutes after, I heard a sweet voice in the silence of
my soul.(Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 48)
Today's Readings:
How sweet to my palate are your promises,
sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalm 119)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord Your Word and Your Promises are sweet to the taste! They refresh our souls!
It is in silence that we can hear Your sweet Word spoken over us! Let us hang on every Word that comes
from Your Mouth today- let us never give up the sweetness of Your Presence among us in Your Word,
The Holy Spirit, and in the Eucharist and Confessional! Taste and see that You are good!
11/19 Today's Consuming Fire Meditation- Let Us Not Become Weary
Saturday of the Thirty Third Week in Ordinary Time
The battle that I was undergoing greatly affected my bodily strength. Sometimes I collapsed
from tiredness. However, the great sufferings brought forth Jesus kindness. (Elizabeth)
(Compendium Page 15)
Today's Readings:
Blessed be the LORD, my rock,
who trains my hands for battle, my fingers for war. (Psalm 144)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You train us for battle- life on Earth is a struggle and it makes us weary!
Sometimes we just want to collapse from the weight of all that can come against us! It is so easy to give
in to temptation and despair! But Lord, You never let us be tried beyond our endurance- let us not
become weary in well doing because in due season we will reap a harvest if we faint not! Souls are
depending on our perseverance!

and that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, be the King and the centre of all
the hearts in the Sacrament of His Love on the Throne of our altars.
Amen.
