Welcome to the Spring Dental clinic!

Children are welcomed here, the profile of our clinic
largely addressing them but we kindly receive also the parents
and the grandparents.
The clinic is coordinated by Dr. Roxana Stefanescu,
Dentist and Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial
Orthopedics.

Orthodontics
When an orthodontic consultation is necessary?
When you notice that your childs teeth ( or yours ) are:
Crowded;
Very spaced;
Upper teeth are inclined way outfront, not leaving lips to approach
each other;

 When one or more teeth from the lower side occlude in front of the
upper teeth;

When the upper front teeth dont touch the lower ones, when teeth
are clenched;

When the upper teeth cover almost entirely the lower ones, when
clenched;
When there are asymmetries (right side does not look like the left).
In order to see these changes, the teeth should be held tightly, giving
lips aside slightly. After orthodontic consultation you will be told
whether or not orthodontic treatment is needed and what it involves.
Why is the orthodontic treatment necessary?
Crowded teeth are hard to clean. This will lead to tooth decay, gum
disease and in severe cases even to premature loss of teeth.
Another orthodontic issue is the abnormal occlusion ( the way that
teeth bite each other ) which can contribute to an abrasion ( attrition )
in excess of the teeth, inefficient chewing, excessive force on the gums
and bone around the misaligned tooth. The orthodontic treatment can
be easier to bear and cheaper than all other future treatments.
Last but not least, a beautiful smile is perhaps the greatest benefit of
orthodontics because it gives confidence.
Which are the orthodontic treatment tools ?
Removable orthodontic appliance

Its an orthodontic construction made from plastic ( acrylic ) and

elements of wire that attaches to teeth by hanging. Remove
during meals. Should be worn at least 16 hours in 24.
Functional orthodontic appliance
It can be an orthodontic construction called activator made from
plastic ( acrylic ) and wire elements that doesnt catch at all from
the teeth. It is only by clenching teeth that it manages to stay in the
mouth. Wear at night and part leisure.
It can be an orthodontic construction called twin-blocks
consisting of two removable appliances, one upper and one lower,
coming in contact with each other, correcting the position of the
two jaws. Its all time wear except for oral hygiene.
It can be a prefabricated appliance called trainer made from
silicone, that corrects vicious habits that many children and adults
have: thumb sucking, lip biting, mouth breathing, tongue
interposition between two teeth arcades, etc. Wear at night and part
leisure.
Fixed orthodontic appliance
Its an orthodontic construction fixed on teeth by cementing or
bonding.
Brackets ( small pieces that stick to the teeth ) can be metal,
ceramic, or natural or synthetic transparent crystals. These are
linked by an arch wire which is attached to brackets with ligature
wire or rubber modules colored silver ( like metal ) or transparent.

 10% discount from the price displayed at surgical and

prosthetic treatments.
Price: 500 lei/year ( can be paid in 2 installments ).

General subscription
20% discount on any labor from the clinics list.
Price: 250 lei/year ( can be paid in 2 installments ).
The subscription concludes after a free consultation, in order to
highlight the need for treatment. All subscribers have priority for
dental emergencies, the patient being scheduled within 24 hours
in the time slot available at the time.

New promotion: 20% discount of the fully paid price of
cosmetic dentistry subscription between November 5
December 24, 2012.
Orthodontics promotion: 10% discount of the fully paid price
of fixed or mobile orthodontic appliances shown on

Promotions are not cumulative with any other discount or
offer. Where there is promotion and discount or offer for the

same labor, the most convenient option for the patient will be
