HOW TO CREATE INTERACTIVE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ON

ACTIONBOUND PLATFORM?
1. Follow this link: https://en.actionbound.com/
2. In the right-upper corner, select Not Logged In and then Sign Up to create a new account on
the Actionbound platform (see the red arrow).

3. Select Private option, then Start Now.
4. To register, fill in the space from the registration form below and click on Create an
Account.

5. After the registration, find a box with + sign on the screen, which has a text written on
it New Bound. Click on that box.
6. Give a title to your game in the Title space. Fill in the URL space with your game name.
Select the game mode: Single Player Bound or Multi Player Bound . For the Sequence of

stages, select Fixed ( if you want your game stages come in one particular order you set,
not randomly). Then click on Create bound.

7. Now you have to work on the content. Click on + sign to add tasks/missions (see the
arrow):
7. On the right side you will see a blue toolbar:

If you click on INFORMATION you could write the game description or a game
invitation for the players.
You could add a picture/video from your computer, hyperlink, or embed code. Then,
click on ADD or SAVE. Note: The online video will be added through video Embed
code through copy-paste action. The Embed code could be found in Share settings of the
video published, for e.g. on youtube.com or other media platforms.
The final result of the INTRODUCTION text will look very similar to the following picture:

To edit the INTRODUCTION text, click on the pen symbol (EDIT) from the right-upper
corner (see the arrow from above).
To duplicate the text or task, use COPY sign (right next after EDIT).
The arrow signs ( up and down) will help you to order the tasks/missions in a certain way
(you could move this task above or below another task).
The garbage bin sign (DELETE) deletes the whole text/task.
8. To add another task/information, click on + sign and select the option you prefer:
a. QUIZ;
b. MISSION;
c. FIND SPOT (find a place based on geographical coordinates and one riddle);
d. QR Code (generates a QR code);
e. SURVEY; or
f. TOURNAMENT ( same team members competitions, for e.g., the best listener, the
quickest participant, etc. ).
9. To create a MISSION, you need to add task/text, and add a relevant picture or a video.
Then, select the answer type from 5 below:
TEXT;
UPLOAD PICTURE (take a picture and upload);
UPLOAD VIDEO (make a 30-secoun video clip and upload);
AUDIO-UPLOAD (record and upload);

NONE (none type of answer).

After you complete the mission, click ADD.

The created and published Mission will look like the one from the picture below:
10. To create a test/quiz, use QUIZ button from the blue toolbar. Insert in the QUIZ space the
question.

In the ANSWERS space select the quiz type (estimated number, multiple choices, and
others).
To add answers use + sign and ADD option. You will have to tick the wrong and right
answers.
In SETTINGS you could set the time limit, the number of tryings and penalties for the
wrong answers.

11. To create a survey, use SURVEY button from the blue right-side toolbar.
Insert the question text in SURVEY space from below, and answer variants in ANSWERS
space. Then, click ADD to publish this task.

12. When all tasks/missions have been created, find SETTINGS button on the left-side
toolbar, and select the settings you would prefer for your game (game profile picture,
publishing results online, game starting point, and time limit).

13. Using the option RESULTS from the left-side bar, you can find the participants results
after playing.
14. When the game is created, click on the capital letter A from the left-side bar to publish
the final online game version (green button), and to get the game QR code.
You could test the game by using the orange TEST button.

IMPORTANT!!! To play this game the players will need a smartphone with 1
downloaded app from the Play/iPhone market, called ACTIONBOUND.
