Overview

FAO-250 Foaming Additive

Improve stimulation and remediation effectiveness

The Baker Hughes FAO-250 foaming additive promotes the formation of foam in diesel,
crude oil, condensates, xylene, and other oils and solvents. Foaming fluids increase
viscosity and surface contact while reducing hydrostatic pressure, making them useful
in hydraulic fracturing, well deliquification, and remediation operations.

Applications

Hydraulic fracturing operations in oil

wells and water-sensitive reservoirs

Condensate unloading operations

in low-pressure gas wells

Paraffin and asphaltene

remediation operations

Features and Benefits

Increases fluid viscosity

and fracture width

Note: Specific treatment fluids should be tested to ensure compatibility prior to use.
Do not use hydrocarbon foams as a treatment for dry gas wells.

Reduces the hydrostatic pressure

of wellbore fluids
