Greetings!
In line with the provisions of Section 36-b of Republic Act (RA) No. 9710 also
known as the Magna Carta of Women (MCW), all government agencies are mandated
to establish and institutionalize the Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point
Systems (GFPS) and stipulated in the School Improvement Plan for the school year
2015-2016, we would to seek the approval of your good office to allow us to conduct a
Gender and Development Seminar (GAD) on December 18, 2015( 3:30-5:00 pm) and
December 19, 2015(9:00-5:00) , at Villa Escodero Resort, San Pablo City, Laguna.
The objectives of the seminar are as follows:
1. To promote unity and cooperation among the teachers by providing them a venue
where they can improve their social skills personally and professionally.
2. Strengthening advocacy in the integration of Gender and Development in all
subject areas.
It is hoped that this request merits your favorable action. Thank you very much.
Attach herewith is the proposed program, estimated expenses, and the working
committee of the above mentioned GAD seminar.

Activity 3----Flip the Duck

designated as the river using only the lily pads. Lily pads can be pieces of cardboard
or paper, etc.
Participants must stay in contact with the lily pads at all times, or the lily pads will
be swept away down the river (i.e. the facilitator will remove them). If a participant
steps off the lily pad into the river at anytime after leaving the river bank s/he will have
to pay the consequences; and either the individual or the entire team will have to
return to the river bank (the facilitators choice). A successful team will get everyone
across the river in as short a time as possible.
2. Alaskan Baseball
IMPACT: Energizes a group with physical activity; challenges teams to work well
together
TIME REQUIRED: 20 30 minutes
DIRECTIONS:
Divide the group into two teams. One team (team A) is the infield. The other
legs. This over-under pattern continues until the stick has reached the end of the
line and the last person yells STOP.
3. Flip the Duck
IMPACT: Challenges all group members to use cooperation, strategy, and creativity,
