Benolho, Albuera, Leyte, state under oath as follows: PRELIMINARY STATEMENT The person examining me is PO1 Harold Giganto who conducted the examination inside the Albuera Police Station, Albuera, Leyte. Iam answering his questions fully conscious that I do so under ‘oath and may face criminal liability for false testimony and perjury. The questions asked of me and my corresponding answers are as follows: 1: Please state your name and other personal circumstances for the record? ‘Answer: I am Ronaldo Espinosa y Rosal, 54 years old, currently the Municipal Mayor of Albuera, Leyte and a resident of Sitio Tinago Brgy. Benolho, Albuera, Leyte; Question 2: Why did you come here before the office of the Albuera Municipal Police Station? Answer: I personally came here, sir, to disclose voluntarily what I know about the illegal drug activities of my son, Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa. 3: You mean to say you came here of your own free will and volition and that no one forced or threatened you to appear before this office and make a statement relative to what you know about your son Kerwin’s involvement in illegal drug activities? ‘Answer: Yes, sir. Question 4: What made you decide to disclose what you know about the illegal drug activities of your son, Rolan “Kerwin® Espinosa? ‘Answer: This is to fulfill my promise to PNP Director-General Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa when I “surrendered” to him at Camp Crame on August 2, 2016 that I will cooperate in the investigation of the illegal drug activities of my son, Rolan *Kerwin" Espinosa. Question 5: What do you know about in’ im illegal i 9 activit your son Kerwin’s: Answer: As far as I know he is a big time eg eae i a big time drug lord operating in‘Question 6: Are you sure of that? Answer: Yes, sir. lam very sure. That is why I called upon him to stop engaging in that illegal drug activities and just surrender to Gen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, Question 7: How did you come to know that your son Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa is a drug lord operating in Eastern Visayas? Answer: We are residing in the same Sitio in Brgy. Binolho, Albuera and he is open to me relative to his said illegal drug activities. He actually tells me about his illegal drug dealings. You mean to say you are freely talking about it? Answer: Yes. Sir. Question 8: What vital information if any did your son tell you relative to his involvement in the illegal drug trade? ‘Answer: My son Kerwin once told me that his supplier of shabu is a certain @ “Lovely”, a Muslim, and the supplier of the latter is certain Peter Co and Peter Lim. Question 9: Have you ever personally met these persons mentioned by your son as his supplier of shabu? Answer: With respect to “Lovely,” yes sir. My son introduced her personally to me as one of his suppliers sometime in the year November 2015. Question 10: Where did you personally meet this “Lovely”? Answer: At Zellan Hotel Reef and Spa, sir, here in Albuera. My son owns the hotel, Question 11: What about this “Peter Co" and “Peter Lim”? Answer: I haven't met them personally but I have heard their names being mentioned by my son. Our personal driver and bodyguard, Marcelo Adorco y Labay, once told me that he had personally met this “Peter Lim” in Thailand together with my son ‘sometime in the year 2014 and he confirmed to me that indeed Petar Lim is an illegal drug supplier of Kerwin. Question 12: What other information did your son confide to you relative to his involvement in the drug trade? ‘Answer: My son, who was in jail at that time, informed me that the reason why he was introduced by “Lovely” to this “Peter Co” was because “Lovely” could not pay already her outstanding balance of 10M Pesos to Peter Co. Question 13: So what could be your son's Participation regarding that problem of Lovely to Peter Co? ‘Answer: According to set off Lovely’s debt to Peter Co, Kerwin will take over the illegal drug trade in Eastern Visayas as Peter Co'sf- Question 14: By the way, is this “Peter Co” and “Peter Lim” one and the same person? ‘Answer: No, sir. They are different. Question 15: What else did your son confide to you relative to his involvement in the illegal drug trade? Answer: He often tells me, sir, that the drugs are being transported through an airplane from Hongkong or Thailand to ila. Question 16; From whom does he get his supply of drugs which you said are being transported from Hongkong or Thailand? Answer: According to my son, he gets his supply of drugs from this "Peter Lim” and "Peter Co” from NAIA Manila. 17 : You mean to say that your son is getting supply from Peter Lim at NAIA Manila? Answer: Yes, as to Peter Lim but as to Peter Co it was not the case because since Peter Co was detained at Bilibid, Kerwin was Getting supply from Peter Co's trustee. 18: You said the drugs are being transported from kong oF Thailand to Manila. What happens to the drugs once they arrive in Manila? ‘Answer: From Manila, the drugs are brought by the personnel of either Peter Lim or Peter Co to a place in Bulacan and said items are then exchanged/switched along the “Skyway” of the said place between the “biyahedor” (Marcelo Adorco y Labay, who is the close- in bodyguard of my son) and a personnel of either Peter Lim or Peter Coon beard a private vehicle. Question 19: What happens next after the ‘biyahedor’ gets ‘the drugs in Bulacan? From Bulacan, the “biyahedor” then brings the said items on board a private vehicle to the residence of my son at “Makati Dela Rosa* situated in Makati City, Metro Manila. Question 20: After that, what happens next? Answer: From the “Makati Dela Rosa” residence of my son, the “biyahedor” will then bring the items to Ormoe City by land trip either through a private vehicle or sometimes through public transportation via the DLTB bus. Question 21: Are you sure of that, Mayor Espinosa? Answer: Yes, sir. My statements can be corroborated in material respects by the “biyahedor” himself, Marcelo Adorco y Labay who is with my son most of the time and who has been entrusted with the transportation/delivery of the drugs to Ormoc City.fk FS Question 22: Did your son, Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa ever inform you how many kilos of shabu are being brought to Ormoc City on a regular basis? Answer: Yes, sir, more or less thirty (30) to fifty (50) kilos a Month are brought to Ormoc City and these thirty (30) to fifty (50) kilos are then distributed throughout Eastern Visayas. Question 23: How often is this procurement and delivery of thirty BO) to fifty (50) kilos of shabu being done? Answer: This is done on a monthly basis, sir. Question 24: You mentioned about the “biyahedor who procures the drugs from Bulacan with the end in view of transporting them to Ormoc City for purposes of distribution throughout Eastern Visayas, does your son only have one “biyahedor"? ‘Answer: No, Sir. My son has several “biyahedors” and Marcelo Adorco y Labay is one of them. Question 25: Do you them personally? Answer: Yes, Sir. 1 know some of them through their aiyases and their faces. Question 26: Can you name them? Answer: Yes, Sir.
