Arms, Armies, and Fortifications in the Hundred Years War by Anne Curry and Michael
Hughes is a book that examines tactics and army make-up of the British. This book is
good because it uses less used evidence such as administration records and archeology of
battle terrain. This book is over 200 pages long with twelve chapters. It contains chapters
on the longbow, artillery, and even ships. Arms, Armies, and Fortifications in the
Hundred Years War is an interesting book with a lot of good information too.

The Military Revolutions of the Hundred Years' War by Clifford J. Rogers is an article
from The Journal of Military History. The article examines what many historians call the
Military Revolution and place about the 15th to 16th centuries. Rogers argues in his article
that the revolution began sooner, during the Hundred Years War with the heavy use of
infantry and the development of gunpowder artillery. His work is interesting and well
documented with sources throughout that could be good for future research.

Hundred Years War: A Wider Focus by L.J. Villalon and Donald J. Kagay is a book that
does not focus just on England and France but the other minor participants in the war and
what was going on outside of the war. It takes a look at Spain, the role of women and
other theaters of the war not in France. This is a good source because it allows for a
greater perspective on the Hundred Years War without getting too focused on only
England and France, even if they did do most of the fighting.
