Weather of a place is very much important for the

determination of various factors associated with the area in
fact, the population, natural resources availability, health of the
people living there, and even all the factor area associated with
the weather and climate of a place in this project I have
underwent research on how does the weather and climate of a
place affect human life and human health.

ABSTRACT

How does the change in weather and climate lead to

health disorders and health related problems?
There are several ways in which these days human
health are affected by which the human life has enter
a critical situation.
One of the main cause for the affection of human
health is pollution which is majorly caused by
factories, vehicles etc another one is due to the
population and resource imbalance in an area and the
declining of the natural resources which mainly affect
the human life cycle . Though it is a known fact that
pollution leads to health problems what are the
special types of problem it causes and what are the

remedies for those problems had been underwent in

this project. This project mainly deals with three of
the major Issues: (I) how does the pollution caused
by the factories leads to different kinds of diseases.
(II) how does the menstrual cycle of the females
affected who work in the industries (III)

how does

the ground water level affected due to the factories

and how does it contribute to the health disorders.
The solution and remedies for the above-mentioned
three topics are been found out I this project.

HYPOTHESIS

AS this is one of the most general and common topic

under which most of the things were already proved
there was a confusion existed for deciding the points to

be assumed .I decided to relate it with all the minor and

major points that was the cause for pollution.
Assumptions: The air blanket surrounding the factory
region was heavier than that of the other areas. The
water quality of the particular area was compared with
the water quality if the other areas. The pH values of
the water contents were tested for various areas and
was compared with the test underwent area. The
regular menstrual cycle of the female working in the
factories were assumed different for the other females.
The normal and average precipitation rate of the area
was measured. The people affected by several diseases
residing in the area were calculated and how it varied
with the statistics of other areas. To get a clear
statistical data of the project.

Aim of the experiment

The main aim of the project was to prove that how does the factory
affect the weather and climate of a particular area and how does it
affect the health of the common people.
What are the various health issues and environmental issues
spotted out in the selected area?
To prove that the menstrual cycle of females are been affected by
weather and climate change.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

Temperature recordings of the assigned

dates
Samples of soil from different areas
Samples of ground water, lake water
from different areas.
Old news paper
Grass growth rate in different areas
Certain books for reference
Decomposition state material

Procedure

Collect all the necessary materials before proceeding with

the project
Select suitable area and two different types of location for
comparison and analysis.
Conduct survey of the people living those two different
areas.
Collect the soil, water, food material, types of grasses
grown the 2 different areas.
Take regular tempt. Readings of both the areas.
Conduct survey of the women working in the factories.
Collect the record of the diseases from which the people in
both the areas are suffering and what is the difference
between those two is.
Collect the data about sunrise and sun set during each
day. In addition, any precipitation occurred during the enmarked period.
If yes collect the samples of rain mater and test the pH of
the water
Record the observation.

Observation

The motive and main aim of the project was achieved by

the following observation and the drastic change in the
temperature readings of the two different areas.
The data itself gave a clear idea that the weather of a
particular area is affected by the surrounding in which it is
located. The smoke and the harmful gases released by the
factories are mostly not according to the government rule.
Instead, they are released into atmosphere without purifying
them or neutralizing the gases, which leads to the emission
of greenhouse gases. The impure air molecules are very

heavy that they are unable to escape from the particular

area so easily. The polluted air forms a thick blanket over
the given area and makes the area filled with the
greenhouses gases this affects the rate of fresh oxygen
available for the organisms to survive. As the oxygen
content of the area is declined the co2 , co, so3, and other
harmful gases rate increases this results in the decrease in
the availability of natural resources.
We might have sometimes wondered the growth of grass
and certain trees into the area where factory is situated is
more than the other common areas it is because of the
availability of abundant amount co2, co, co3,which is very
much required by the plants for their respiration. The plants
are able to adapt themselves to such abnormal condition
because they have two types of special cycles for their
respiration i.e., c3 ,c4, pathway , which makes it easier for
them to respire in such harmful atmosphere.

Leaves of different trees grown in the area was collected to

test for the pollution indication in the particular area like
the leaves from plants which were grown abundant in the
area, plants which just had few leaves and the plant which
were not grown in the area . from collecting these leaves
first I wiped all the leaves with fresh and new cotton the
cotton was filled with dust particles .Then the chlorophyll
part of the leave was observed under microscope it was
found that, the plants which took C4 pathway, was having a
proper chlorophyll and the leaf was properly able to
prepare food for themselves and a healthy growth was
observed among those plants. While the plants which
undertook C3 pathway for respiration had weak chlorophyll
pigment. the stomata of the leaf was also observed ,the
plant under going C4 pathway had swollen stomata with
adequate amount of water. But the plant under undergoing
C3 pathway had sunken stomata with inadequate water for
the plant. this again lead to the disturbance in natural

resources available in the area and the vegetation of the

particular place which leads to drought.
Through the samples of soil collected from two different
locations for observation it was observed that, the PH of
the garden soil in the pollution less region was basic in
nature while the pH of the garden soil in the industrial area
was acidic in nature and this was the similar case of the
roadside soil. When I looked for the nutritional values in
the soil it was found that, the soil the pollutant free regions
soil was somewhat infertile, though it had certain minerals
like phosphorus, magnesium, sulphur, nitrogen, calcium,
iron etc. while in the case of industrial area it was found
that certain harmful salts were found to be in abundant
which make it difficult for the cultivation of crops in those
regions.
The same was the case with the water samples collected
also the lead and chlorine content of the water samples
collected from the industrial area was very high. This

proves that the water is also inappreciable for drinking

purpose.
The thick covering of the greenhouse gases over a certain
area for a long time leads to lack of precipitation, which
leads to the destruction of common land, water and air in
the particular area. In addition, the precipitation after the
long time received is also filled with highest pollutant and
is impreferable for human consumption this kind of rain is
also called as Acid rain. These gases released by the
factory not only lead to acid rain but also it affects the
temperature, the area is exposed by the UVrays in more
amounts as compared to other common areas. It has been
detected that 7 of every 10 people living in the factory
zone where been affected by asthma, wheezing, 2 of every
ten people were detected to be suffering from certain
harmful diseases like skin, lung cancer, etc.
It was observed that the temperature of the area varied on
the day when no factories worked this was also taken as a

proof for the factories play a major role in determination of

weather of a particular place.
. The rain water though is the purest for of natural water
source available it was found that the earth, it has been
proved that the rain water of those industrialized area has
higher sulphur, lead, sodium, mercury content in a larger
amount. It is because the area is surrounded by a thick
layer of harmful gaseous molecules which is unable to
easily escape into the atmosphere so, they are readily
soluble in nature hence whenever precipitation occurs the
gas particles gets mixed up with the rain water and makes
the water acidic in pH. The consumption of this rain water
leads to many of the harmful disease such as kidney
cancer, lung cancer, oral cancer etc, not only cancer but
also chronic disease like typhoid, malaria, dengue etc are
also possible.
In my project it was also found out that the menstrual
cycle of the females living in the area or working in the

industry was affected by weather. Menstrual cycle is a

regular periodic cycle which occurs at the interval of 28-30
days. Out fifty women it was found that eight of their
menstrual cycle was affected because of weather change.
As we all know that our body responds to outside stimuli,
the body has to receive certain signals from outside the
body for the process of menstruation, but when the weather
changes due to certain factors the signal to the body
reaches very late due to which there is a delay in the
menstrual cycle of certain females. In others cases it is not
the case there body harmones are formulated in such a
manner that it does not depend on external stimuli for
certain of the processes. So in other females the cycle is
found to be abnormal and this proves that all the natural
process occurring in the world are been affected due to the
weather and climate change. For example when the body is
over heated the hormonal imbalance occurs in those 8
females slike wise due to over chillness of the body in

winter too leads to hormonal imbalance which leads to

delay or the early menstrual cycle.
Some of the additional information I gained through this
project was that :
When I had a personal interview with Dr. Anand kumar on
what are the commn means by which the cancer spread,
whether weather and climate was associated with cancer.
His advice was that iodinated salt that the people are using
all over the world was first discovered and adviced for the
people living in higher altitude and for people living in belt
region. But is now been used by the people of all the
places which leads to cancer, because we people get iodine
directly from sun and every day iodine is accumulated to
over body due the consupitation of salt , but this iodine is
not disepitated from our body which leads to cancer.
It has also been observed that the population density of a
place leads to the drastic change in the weather and climate
change ie, when there are more no. of people in a given u

it area the availability of the resources for these people are

very less when the natural resources are affecte then the
weather of the place is also affected this leads to improper
climatic conditions which leads to cause of many infectious
diseases to human and other common disease to human .

RESULT

It has been found that the weather and climate change

has a great impact on human health and the
atmosphere. one of the major reason for the weather
and climate change of a area is the no of factories
located in the area and the rate of natural vegetation
available in the area. The diseases which were earlier
found not to related with climate change has now been
found to be related so. For example cancer, female
menstrual cycle and the density of the population also
leads to weather and climate change.

Conclusion

The aim of the project was that how weather and

climate of a particular place change due to the major
factors like the location, availability of natural
resources, location of factories, population density, also
decides the temperature of a area. Through this
process I was able to gain the knowledge that all the
process in the world are interrelated with weather and
climate. The location of the factory should in an
isolated area so that it wont affect the weather and
climate of a human living area and the also that the
availability of the natural resources in a area would also
be not affected. This can make a pollution less zone for
human survival. And the sustainable development
would also be possible.
