3-5 Key Changes

from the Previous
Period (Not specific
to one region)

C. Nomadic
Societies

A. Taxation has always been

important to ensure that the
government can continue to do
things for the citizens. This
includes building roads, and
supporting common resources. A
census was created for tax
purposes as well.

B. Some hunter/Gatherer societies still

exist but agriculture has evolved to
become the primary source of food.
Without the surplus of food that
agriculture gives us, we possibly would
have ran out of food.
C. Nomadic societies were the original
forms of civilizations and are still present
at the end of the foundations era just not
as prominent.
