policy. Global Issues in Context
This academic journal highlights the main reasons why solidarity is the only
effective labour policy. The author is a teacher at City University of New York
and studied at University of Cincinnati. La Botz is also an American labour
union activist. His arguments seem slightly biased because he works for the
government but they are also based on facts and he provides good
examples. I will be using the authors key arguments to support mine.
Overall rating: Good.
Roman, R. Velasco, E. (2014, March 22). Mexico: the state against
the working class. Global Issues in Context
This academic journal focuses on the main reasons why Mexico is working
against its working class. I could not find any personal information on the
authors of the article. The authors are slightly biased mainly because Velasco
is from Mexico. I will be using their main arguments as backup for my second
argument Companies shouldnt abuse the law labour cost in countries like
Mexico to harmonize a lower labour cost in other countries (e.g. Canada).
Overall rating: Good.

Mexico, and Canada modernize NAFTA? Toronto Star
