Theories in Learning 1b

In the human life, the individual Passes through many stages. Those
stages are part of his life. That is called a periods of developments which
start from birth until death. (Santrouk, J.2004) According to my job as a
teacher, I should understand the middle childhood and adolescence
development stages. In these period of developments, the children
changes physically, cognitively and socially. From ages five to 11, the body
still grow, but without huge change on it. The children in this stage think
logically and have a concrete thought. They want to play all the time.
However, when they grow up and reach the adolescence which a period of
the life from 11- 18, they start to think in real way and know how to deal
with that. They try to find themselves and identify their ideas for others. In
addition, their body have palpable physical changes. Also, their social life
centered around their relationships and friends at variance of the middle
childhood whom think on playing all the time. (Piaget, 1952)
Interview Activity
To make the student feel comfortable to each other is important for the
teacher. As a teacher, I choose this activity to make my student be relax in
my lesson. This activity helps student to know each other and understand
each other. In addition, it helps to build relationships with each other. In
addition, it support students to shows their abilities and skills. For
example, when the student do an interview for each other, they will listen
for their interests. That may encourage them to shows their abilities
because they know that other students have the same abilities.( Neel
Burton, M.D,2012) For the teachers, it's important to make their student
feel comfortable . Because that make the student love the subject and feel
freedom to represent their ideas and thought.
