To welcome our guests with hospitality and be able to contribute positively to their AUP
experience
To guide the participants around our campus grounds and assist them during the entire
duration of their stay in AUP
To prioritize our guests safety and be able to respond quickly in case any emergency
Requirements
Have sufficient knowledge about AUP and COB (history, faculty & staff, facilities, )
Physically capable to use the stairs, and stand for at least 30 minutes
All AUP buddies should be familiar with the location of available restrooms, water
stations, offices, etc.; and the information of the event.
Duties:
Two students will be assigned to each participating school as their AUP buddies.
AUP buddies will be the first ones to welcome the participants and guide them to the
registration booth, photo booth, and to their seats inside the hall.
All AUP buddies should be with their assigned schools at all times. During breakout
session, buddies may accompany which subgroup of their assigned school needs may
need assistance.
Reminders:
We require all AUP buddies to wear corporate attire (royal blue, black, or a combination
of both). Please dress comfortably and refrain from wearing strong fragrances.
Please exert every effort to look presentable during the event. Ladies should exhibit
modesty in their attire, having no colored nail polish and bold makeup. Gentlemen should
have proper haircut.
You may store your belongings at the YES office or keep them with your friends. You
may only bring your cellphones, program, any notes, and pens.
Emergency Procedure:
Should any guest disturb the competition in a manner that requires attention, find the
Overall Coordinator immediately. If unavailable, find the competition coordinators.
Should you hear an announcement asking you to evacuate the hall, do sobut assist any
guests if needed.
Should any guests need medical assistance or first aid for minor accidents, falls or illness,
stay with the injured person and ask someone to find Sir Salera immediately. If the guest
insists that he or she does not need assistance but appears injured, simply note the guests
appearance and where the guests is sitting, and report the incident to the Overall
Coordinator immediately.
If you feel you are in a life-threatening situation, please remove yourself from that
situation.
In all instances, please remain calm and follow the announcements and Overall
Coordinators instructions, placing your own safety first.
