Conery 2900 Float Switch Operation

The Conery 2900 Float Switch is a N/O type float switch that closes or "turns on" when the float
switch rises above the actuation level. The float switch contacts then open back up once the
float drops below the "turn off" point.
For Narrow Angle: The float switch activates (contacts close) as the float rises 1.00 or 5
degrees above horizontal
For Wide Angle: The float switch activates (contacts close) as the float rises 45 degrees above
horizontal. The contacts then remain closed until the float switch returns to 45 degrees below
horizontal.

position.The switch activates (contacts close) as the float rises 1.00 or 5 degrees above
horizontal.
Wired as Normally Closed - N.C. The switch contacts are closed (or on) in the hanging

Installation
1. Remove the utility lid.
2. Wire brush the debris from the lid seat. (Figure 1)
3. Apply the Tac-Tape to the lid seat with plastic side up and the plastic overlap to the outside.
The plastic is the barrier between the bottom of the lid and the sealant tape. (Figure 2)
4. Replace the utility lid.
