Institute Goal: IECS aims to provide professional and technical education in engineering, computer studies and allied
fields, produce
globally competent and versatile individuals, and to promote research and development,
extension and training, and production
in these areas.
Program Objectives: The program of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology after 4 years will produce a
graduate who;
1. To train the students and provide them with a variety of career and technical education programs in the field of
information technology and allied fields that will prepare them for employment in the current business, industry,
and service sectors;
2. To provide enhanced IT educational training through the development of partnerships that promote and support
economic development and service to the community.
3. To inculcate among students an environment that fosters high ethical standards, openness, trust, respect, and
fairness among all members of the academic community.
4. To provide learning opportunities for cultural enrichment and personal development; and
5. To promote awareness of the importance of computer technologies and e-learning with other fields of studies
such as agriculture, business, education, and other fields of endeavor

Course Description: Based on CMO 18, Series 2008.
In this course, the students will understand the current issues in software and hardware, the history and
development of each technology. The effect of this technology in the society, school, industry and even the
economy. The student will also learn how to conduct a seminar that will develop their skills in research, learn
new motivating techniques and promotes self confidence.
Course/student Outcome: At the end of the course/subject the student will be able to:
1. to enhance Research in the library, magazine, and internet.
2. To be able use IT skills n handling Seminars: Create presentation, brochure, and visual aids.
3. To Build up self Confidence and motivating techniques.
4. To learn Seminar Management and techniques
5. To Develop advance Learning with the different Trends in Information Technology
