Middle School Science Teacher
Flexible and organized educational professional that is committed to applying knowledge and
experience to promote student learning while nurturing the development of the whole child within a
student-centered classroom. I have proven ability in the design of challenging innovative technology
activities that address the diverse interest and needs of students. My qualifications in the area of
technology have given me the power to raise engagement and increase learning. In December, I will be
graduating from Webster University with a Masters Degree in Educational Technology. I have learned
many useful classroom strategies, such as, how to build websites, create videos, and design customized
content through Google. This experience has given me the knowledge to deliver thoughtful and
engaging content through the power of technology.

Teaching Experience
Ladue School District
I have been in the Ladue School District teaching Earth Science for 9 years. One of my roles has been
leader of Technology Mondays for students. This program guarantees that students given technology
opportunities once a week in their Science classes. I have created weekly interactive lessons for
myself and other science teachers. Some examples are, 50 years of NASA, Moon Phase Scavenger Hunt,
iMovie, or building Quizlets. Along with my technology contributions I also, am department chair and
actively involved in our Character Education. In my role as department chair, I lead monthly meetings,
make decisions concerning department affairs, and organize the yearly budget. I am proud to explain
that because of our collaborative efforts we have received the honor of National School of Character.
