To Whom It May Concern:

I am excited to apply for available special education teaching positions. School

districts in which teachers, administrators, and school personnel are committed to
providing high quality education to students appeal to me as I hope to join such a
community of educators. Throughout my pursuit in becoming an effective teacher, I have
come to recognize schools that hold their teachers to high standards produce successful,
functional students who have the knowledge and skills to impact our world.
My teaching experiences thus far have given me the opportunity to interact with
students from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds as well as instruct
students with a broad range of ability levels. Student teaching in a PPCD classroom in
College Station ISD has presented me with the opportunity to learn more about the
special education setting in a hands-on manner. Throughout the semester, I have been
able to implement interventions and techniques for a variety of goals including social,
academic, fine and gross motor, and speech. Student teaching in a PPCD classroom is a
natural segue into full time teaching in a special education setting as I will be extremely
familiar with activities, lessons, and resources that are appropriate and engaging for
students.
An official university transcript will be available from Texas A&M University
upon request at a later date.
I appreciate your consideration and the opportunity to converse about special
education positions within your represented district.
Respectfully,

Hannah Jechow
