A verb in Hindi is called kriya. A verb is a word that tells what a person or a thing is doing.

Ma sharbat bana rahi hai. Mom is making sharbat.

Ravi patang uda raha hai. Ravi is flying a kite.
Seema kuud rahi hai. Seema is jumping.
Raju khada hai. Raju is standing.
