Relationship Between Motivation With the Mother`s Behavior Towards
Early Treatment of Diarrhea In Preschool Children at Public Health
Centers Masaran II Sragen
ABSTRACT
Diarrhea is a disease most often affects children around the world,
including Indonesia. Initial treatment of diarrhea is the most important
thing to reduce morbidity and mortality due to diarrhea. The purpose of this
research to find out the motivation relationship with the mother`s behavior
towards an initial treatment in Public Health Centers II Masaran Sragen.
The research used the descriptive quantitative method with cross sectional.
The samples of research were 20 respondents and were taken by using the
total sampling technique. Data analysis using Spearman rank correlation.
The result of this research that 10 respondents (50%) had a good
motivation with good behavior, 6 respondents (30%) had a good motivation
to conduct less and mothers who are motivated less by the behavior is less
by 4 (20%). There is a relationship between motivation with the mother`s
behavior towards early treatment of diarrhea in preschool children at
Public Health Centers Masaran II Sragen with Value 0.025 (
<0.05). Conclusions from this research is there is a relationship between
motivation with the mother`s behavior towards early treatment of diarrhea
in preschool children at Public Heatlh Centers Masaran II Sragen 2016.
