Kristine Fonacier is currently the editor in chief of Esquire Philippines (since January 2016).
Esquire is a mens magazine that started in the United States.
She raised a few eyebrows earlier this year after taking the reins of Esquire
Philippines as its new editor in chief. Of course she guessed what most men
were thinking (Whats a girl doing running a mens magazine?), addressing
the issue head on in her editors note: Its just about as ridiculous to say that
a woman has no stake in making better men as it is to say that men cant be
feminists. It benefits us all to make men the best that they could be,
especially in a country and in a culture where men are so often accused of
(an enabled to) being emotionally and psychologically stunted Touch.

Dr. Roberto Gudio (1954 2015) was a professor at the University of Eastern Philippines
Laoang Campus and served as its Dean for Research and Extension. He was a professor at
this institution for 37 years.
He taught social studies and literature in undergraduate classes. He was also the technical
adviser of The Noumena, the official publication of the institution where he taught. As a
technical adviser, he had a paternal role in the student publication. He supervises but is not
in full control. In 2011, he trusted the editor in chief to manage the student publication
because he saw in him the potential as a leader. He sees the potential in students and gives
them the responsibility in accomplishing tasks.
