In academic scope, people who work for their research project will likely to need to collaborate
closely with others to enhance their success chance. Join in a groupwork will be a good choice
because it allows you to collect additional inputs and also your own interpretation widely
improved and its natural for recognize them all because of their vary contributions toward your
assessed work. Although it may be reasonable, and may be spelt out, any input from others
should be clearly acknowledged. Indeed, people who change your assessed work indirectly into
the better should also be given appreciation.
All input should be recognized including editing, proofreading, specific academic advice
or ideas, general advice on structuring your work, assistance with collecting data in the field,
technical support, translation services, including the use of copyright material and financial
assistance which had impacts on your work. The Acknowledgement may be given in a form like
my supervisor or my friend rather than using individual names. In addition, at primary
research with human subjects or participant, it has to be done anonymously. It means it would be
better to thanking them as a group. It is vital to ensure that you fully understand any ethicsrelated obligations that apply to you regarding anonymity and confidentiality.
In addition, there should be a fair provision between contributions from others and work
of your own. Sorting out which input is relevant and important for your project is the best thing.
In marking all work fairly, markers should always be made aware of any support or input that
received from other people. All the assistance received from others and any additional resources
should be clearly specified. It means the additional support that received must be in line with the
assessment criteria. If information about support or input received is incorrect or omitted, this
may be subject to penalties under the Schools assessment irregularity procedures. However, this
is fine if ask other people checking your draft, but do not let anything (Software) or anyone else
(Professional paid editors) extensively edit and rewrite your assessed work, it is your work and
you must make the final decision about what is included and how it is expressed in your own
project. In order to create a good content, there are two skilful processes which require good
English language proficiency, both of them are Proof-reading (checking the word content) and
Copy-Editing (checking/revising a manuscript against a prescribed style) which also making
alterations necessary to ensure consistency and remove any duplicated content.
