Thank you for using our software!

Overview

The Quick Configuration Tool is used to set basic information of device (such as IP address,
PPPoE and system information) and upgrade device.

1.1 Main Interface


Double click on ConfigTool.exe, the main interface pops up as below. See Figure 1-1.

Device List

Here includes IP address, port, subnet mask, default gateway, Mac address,
device type and Http.

IP Version

Here you can select IP version from IPv4, IPv6 and all.

NIC

Here you can choose the corresponding NIC of your PC.

BatchUpgrade

You can upgrade devices as batch at once.

Refresh

Here you can re-search device IP and other information.

Login

You can log in designated IP address to view its Quick Configuration Tool
interface.

Logout

You can log out the device list interface as exit the Quick Configuration Tool.

1.2 Login Web


You can select an IP address in the Figure 1-1 and then right click mouse to select open device
Web. See Figure 1-2. Then you can log in the corresponding Web interface.

Web login interface is shown as below. See Figure 1-3. You need to input username(ID) and
password(PWD) to continue.

2 Device Configuration
2.1 Login to Configuration
If you want to configure the device via the Configuration Tool (other than WEB page), you can
select a particular device from the device list and then click on login button.
Please follow the steps:
1. In device list, double click on device to login, or single click on a device and then
click on login button at the bottom. The login window pops up as in Figure 2-1.

IP Address

IP address of the device.

User Name

The user name to log in the Configuration Tool. For the username
to be valid, it must be registered on corresponding device.
Password of the Configuration Tool. For the password to be valid, it
must be registered on corresponding device.
Port no. of the device.

In the pop-up window, input user name and password. The default is admin/admin.
Click on login.
Please note:
Port no. must be identical with the port no. in TCP port setup of network config on WEB.

2.2 Network Parameter


Click on network parameter tab; you can see an interface is shown as below. See Figure 2-2.

DHCP

Enable or disable DHCP function. (support IPv4 only)

Ethernet
card

Device Ethernet card.

IP version

Device IP version. Select between IPv4 and IPv6.

IP address

Device IP address (IPv4/IPv6). If you enable DHCP function, you


will not be able to set IP address.

Subnet mask

Device subnet mask (IPv4). If you enable DHCP function, you will
not be able to set subnet mask.

Gateway

Device Gateway (IPv4/IPv6). If you enable DHCP function, you will


not be able to set gateway.

MAC
address

Device MAC address. You cannot set Mac address. (IPv4/IPv6).

Save

Click it to save current parameter.

Return

Go back to main interface.

2.3 PPPoE
Click on PPPoE tab to set PPPoE parameters, you can see the following interface. See Figure 23.

Enable or disable PPPoE function.

PPPOE user name.

Password

PPPOE password.

IP address

The device IP address in the WAN.

Save

Save current parameter.

Return

Go back to main interface.

2.4 System Information


Click on system information tab to set device system information, you can see the following
interface. See Figure 2-4.

Device serial number which is automatically


generated by the system and cannot be modified.

Software version

Device current software version no. which is


automatically generated by the system and cannot
be modified.

Device name

You can modify device name here.

Synchronization with PC

Sync device time with PC. The device time cannot be


manually modified.

Manual setup

Manually set device time and date and click on sync


button to take effect.

Save

Save current parameter.

Return

Go back to main interface.

2.5 System Upgrade


Click System Upgrade tab to upgrade the firmware of device.
Step1: Click Open to choose a upgrading file.
Step2: Click Upgrade button to start upgrade. File will be sent to the device.

Step3: System upgrade will start after file been sent to the device.
Step4: After upgrading finishes, device will reboot automatically.

3 Batch Upgrade
Please note:
The devices to upgrade must match the selected upgrading file. Otherwise, upgrading
will fail.
User Name(ID) and Password(PWD) are fixed to admin and 12345.
Please follow the steps listed below to upgrade the device.
1. Double click on ConfigTool.exe, the Configuration Tool interface pops up,
2. Click on BatchUpgrade button.
The batch upgrade interface pops up as in Figure 3-1. You can select devices in
device list or click on add button at lower right corner to add more devices.

Check the device to upgrade. Click on open to select upgrading file.


Click on upgrade. The system will upgrade automatically. You can view its progress
in upgrading status. When upgrading finishes, you can see the upgrade status as
upgrade succeeded as Figure 3-2.

Please note: You may stop upgrading by clicking on cancel button during the process.
Notice
If you cannot upgrade, please follow the steps listed below:
First, please check if device upgrading file is right or not. You shall select the proper version
to upgrade the device.
If the device is running properly and you still cannot upgrade. Please reboot the quick
configuration tool and then log in again to update the device.
If the program error occurs, while the device kernel has booted up, you can use upgrade
port 3800 to log in the configuration tools main interface to upgrade. Please note: the other
values such as PPPoE, system information are invalid.

This manual is for reference only. Slight difference may be found in the user
interface.
