The Fancy Drill Competition will start on the schedule time. All participants must be
at the venue thirty (30) minutes before the start of the program for the registration and
drawing of lots. There will be a deduction of 10 points for the late participants.
Participants for the fancy drill competition shall be a registered member of the council
and the scout-o-rama otherwise disqualified.
B. PARTICIPANTS:
Minimum of twenty four (24) and maximum of forty (40) scouts per institution or
combination of joining institutions.
All participants must be in proper Type A Scout Uniform or Type B uniform wearing
the official neckerchief of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
The competition is open to both public and private schools.
C. DURATION/SCORING/PREPARATIONS:
The time limit for each presentation is on eight (8) minutes to ten (10)
minutes. This includes the entrance and exit. A deduction of five (5) points
will be imposed for first 1 minute or its fractional parts in excess of ten (10)
minutes and one (1) point for every succeeding minute or its fractional parts.
Scoring or judging shall start after the SALUTATION OF UNIT to the Board
of Judges and the raising of Green Flag signals to start.
Time Flag Signals:
Green
- start of scoring
Yellow
- warning signals at 8 minutes
Red
- Signal after 10 minutes performance with penalty
or point deduction for extra time consumed.
D. THE FORMATION OF UNIT. The following shall be the standard movements to be
followed strictly:
a. Assembly (Single Line formation/Troop in line Formation)
Salutation
Dressing the unit
Facing movements

G. AWARDS/PRIZES
a. Winners will receive Certificate of Recognition while non-winners will receive
Certificate of Participation plus surprise awards.
b. Major Winners are as follows:
Champion
1st Runner Up
2nd Runner Up
3rd Runner Up
4th Runner Up
c. Awarding of Major Winners and Participating Schools shall be held during the
Council Court of Honor on December 14, 2015.
