The intended target market of the proposed study are Korean, Chinese and

Japanese restaurants in Cebu City. Based on the survey conducted, it was shown in
Table 8 that 75% of the respondents are willing to patronize new supplier of Oyster
mushroom in Cebu City and 69% preferred it to be fresh upon delivery as presented in
Table 9. The annual demand for the first year of operation is proposed to be 488.86
kilos and is expected to increase 1.72% annually. The market shares of the proposed
project is as follows: 488.86 kilos in the first year, 491.60 kilos in the second year,
494.40 kilos in the third year, 497.24 kilos in the forth year and 500.13 kilos in the fifth
year. The increasing market share is due to the increasing demand that could
addressed given that the production capacity of the farm house is 3538.08 per year
which 723% higher. Furthermore, the marketing strategies are designed specifically to
address the needs that respondents are looking for from their suppliers. The produce is
to be distributed directly in order that the proposed business could provide fresh
produce. Moreover, the price is 16.67% lower compared to competitors.
