NURSE COMPETENCIES
We are committed to the development of all our staff. When you start with the Trust your
manager will agree objectives with you as part of the appraisal process end develop a
personal development plan
itis an expectation that you will meet the required competencies at 3 and 6 months following
your appointment. Your manager will work with you on this. It is important for you to know
‘that failure to meet these competencies would lead to formal management of your
performance in line with the trust capability policy (a copy of the Capability Procedure is
available on the Trust intranet) If, following a period of training to help you reach the required
standard, you are not successful, the Trust may terminate your contract.
