ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS

INTRODUCTION

This report covers the monitoring HSEQ activities carried out in the period from April
2015 to June 2015, during the development of the required activities within the
Contract "current contract FITNESS FOR LOCAL EMPLOYMENT AGENCY
CAFAM FUSAGASUGA"

It inspected the shares during the period April 2015 to June 2015.

The performance of activities relating to commitments in Occupational Health,


Safety, Environment, designated for the fulfillment of this project are supported by

Appearance and Environmental Impact , HSEQ Plan, Schedule Management, Risk

The Contractor and the work in general were subject to strict monitoring and control
through Cafam audits in which management and compliance of the company meet
its obligations in each of the obligations and elements are evaluated.

OBJECTIVE
Promote the activities of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, executed in
performing the work (employment agency contract - Cafam Fusagasug) putting into
practice the recommendations specified in: the legal framework as internal
regulations and management policies social and environmental ARINDEC CAFAM

SCOPE
This paper wants to show compliance with the commitments in Health, Safety and
Environment, obtained from the guidelines of the Environmental Management Plan,
the adequacy contract local employment agency Cafam Fusagasug.

CONSTRUCTION ARINDEC POLICIES

ISSUES IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY IDUSTRIAL

1. Mobilization of personnel, equipment and materials In the performance of this


contract were taken in hand:
Hand tools or hand are using human muscle power.
Electrical or mechanical tools use an external power source.
The movement of the personnel working on this project moves from Bogota
to Fusagasug hosting it in a hotel for early development.
Supplies and materials needed for the development of the work contract with
a small hardware store to buy which is needed is conducted.

1.2 Delivery of provision and replacement of personal protection


According to policies CONSTRCTORA ARINDEC quality and requirements
of the contract with each employee performing any work, must have the
manning personal protection comprising:
2 overalls marked with the name of the builder
2 t-shirts marked with the name of the builder
1 helmet
1 pair of steel toe safety boots
1 pair of nitrile gloves
1 pair of ear protectors (cap type)
1 safety glasses (clear and dark)
1 cover mouths

And according to the risk factors that each worker is exposed, the protective
elements necessary for the implementation of different activities as well as accident
prevention was available.
Within the work we have:
First aid kit
Stretcher
Extinguisher
Filtered water dispenser
And every employer carries its license the company with its license holders
Inspection of personal protection and daily talk is done in addition to what the
supervisor said later HSE was in permanent inspection for correct use of PPE and
proper renewal of certain mandatory elements, such as gloves, goggles, lid cover
mouths and ears.

1.3 Induction program


Perform HSE induction as a prerequisite for the start of the work; the staff
had no such induction is done induction as one of the first requirements of
ARINDEC CONSTRUCTION.
Complying with the primary rules OCNSTRUCTORA talk ARINDEC

TRAINING AND TALKS: Industrial Safety, Occupational Health and environment


Safety briefings were held before starting the workday, the permanence of these
ranged between 5 and 15 minutes. All lectures were executed by the HSE
supervisor.
During the execution of daily talks HSE lessons occurred in the city working in
construction were analyzed. Safety briefings were provided to workers is carried out
daily on a schedule of daily chats where its programming and execution of this was
recorded.

SIMULATION TRAINING AND FIRST AID


Accompanied by the HSE supervisor who gave a little talk about first aid and
transport of injured workers and was more concerned to strengthen the worker these
issues and we are not acceptable to us that an accident occurs and as we get
collaboration of an ambulance we have to provide the injured person first aid and all
have to be able to provide them.

1.6 Disclosure of Material Safety Data Sheets


The disclosures of safety data sheets were designed in the course of the work, where
the safety briefing is dictated and was located next to the rightful material; in the
safety data sheet is the figure of the diamond indicating the degree of risk to life that
involves the material contained.
The blue diamond represents health risk, the red diamond represents the risk of
flammability, yellow diamond represents the reactivity and white diamond represents
the specific care.

1.7 Analysis of safe work (ATS)


To carry out the activities within the work required the development and
implementation of ATS , according the activity fence to make , for the preparation of
the document is supported by the architect resident and supervisor HSE who are
those who accept the development of this activity and the employee who is who
performs the activity . The procedures are described in general activity with step by
step how they are going to make, the potential risks that can have and recommended
actions or procedures to minimize these risks.

According to the rules established by CAFAM to work permits and job safety
analysis, they were given the proper management and supervision always remained
in the HSE.

1.8 Preventive medicine and work.


To comply with occupational health program the company perform medical
examinations for admission to staff was to work within the proposed CAFAM way
like they are perform tests return to compliance with the Resolution 2346 of 2007
which talks about the practice of occupational medical evaluations.
During the working hours they were conducted active breaks to rest some of the
work they were doing and middle 15 minutes in the morning and afternoon.

1.9 Signalling
During this project sites where activities were implemented were marked, signaling
consisted of locating a danger tape around areas of work mostly where they were
being undertaken by the stairs to the placement of the structure of ceilings and the
entry of the work to prevent the entry of outsiders to work, preventive and informative
signage was also placed.
He had a hydration and ecological point where the worker could refresh and deposit
the waste according to their classification

1.10 Preparation and first aid care


He trained the staff working within the work to meet any eventuality that comes into
the work area, such as taking control measures and security so as not actually
worsen the situation. First aid training which were provided with knowledge on how
to help a person with fracture took place, as stabilize and transport on the stretcher;
I was also taught how to put a neck brace, such as driving dizziness, fainting, cuts
and eye injuries.
Besides emergency brigades were established to act in case of any eventuality, with
the same workers work as knowledge.

1.11 Accident
During the execution of the work EMPLOYMENT AGENCY CAFAM Fusagasug
project any kind of accidents that could cause injuries to workers and damage to
infrastructure were not presented.

2 ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS
The ARINDEC CONSTRUCTION among its projects is the preservation of the
environment and surroundings so in this work we tried to use the most of the debris.
Activities also garbage collection, recycling and disposal of these wastes are made
