Comments:
Congratulations on a successful philosophy statement. The content was very well developed with examples and research (citation) to support your ideas. Your
strength with the content was your ability to integrate social work with TESOL; integrating and developing excellent sources that could be applied to both houses of
thought for example the looking glass concept. In addition, you did a excellent job of giving extended examples that described the activity or learning taking place
(jigsaw, Linguistic class example). This shows your ability to apply your experiences to concepts which is a good academic skill.
To improve (content), your introduction was long, and could have been better divided in separate paragraphs and edited down. Also the format (organization) needed
some improvements: indenting, attention to minor errors in APA style. Please pay attention to editing for these points when doing a final submission. Despite these
errors, your content was excellent.
Well done!
