Lesson reflections:

The students were engaged with well. Active and positive encouragement was given.
Overhead projections were used well with a clear and strong focus on learning objectives.
Direct engagement with the students was shown rather than a reliance on worksheets. Very
clear voice and very good control of students. Students were positively reinforced and
rewarded. Contributions were elicited from a range of students in a range of ways. Visual
learning was then reinforced verbally. Although the timing of the lesson at times was out,
time was spent reinforcing the vocabulary and the concepts taught. Some Arabic was used
in a constructive way to reinforce difficult concepts at specific points. Maybe try to plan
fewer activities for the lesson next time so you can concentrate on the strong teaching you
do when engaging with students. Maybe also think about how and when you are evaluating
students. It was good how you explained well in a calm and methodical manner, class work
that you set for homework.
