Why Remote I/O Regardless of vendor?

Remote I/O slices are designed to trick the PLC into thinking that is has locally connected IO points.
Major advantages are to increase flexibility and reduce costs in components and cabling.

Is u-remote compatible with all PLC Network Protocols?

The u-remote I/O system is compatible with the following platforms:
- PROFIBUS DP V1
- PROFINET IRT
- EtherCAT
- Modbus TCP
- EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, CANopen (available in 2015)
With u-remote, a simple coupler change enables the I/O to match the PLC protocol
