Create a QR Code Hunt

Type the information next to each prompt.
1. Choose a topic: Science
2. Identify the standards and write objectives:
Relevance and Application:
1

Living things may have different needs at different points in their life
cycles.

Objectives: Students will learn about different characteristics animals and

plants need to sustain life in a good environment.

3. Determine how you want students to proceed through the QR code

hunt and what they are to do with the information or what they are to
do at each clue. Describe your method here:

Students will use each QR code to learn about a different organism

(plant or animal) and what needs the organisms must have in order to
flourish and grow to their maximum capacity. After they gather
information recorded on a provided note catcher, students will pick one
organism they learned about, and write a summary of the facts. After
they are done, they can use different QR codes to explore more and
play learning games provided by the teacher.
4. Write at least 10 questions or prompts (see table below):
5. Create a QR code for each question/prompt. Copy and paste the QR
code next to each question/prompt above. QR codes can link to text,
web sites, images, and more!
There are a lot of QR code generators. Some have colors, some allow many
options, some are just black and white, and some force you to download the
QR code.
This QR code generator allows you to copy and paste rather than download:

This one has lots of options and color: http://www.qrstuff.com/
6. Here is a QR code hunt generator: http://www.classtools.net/QR/ - it is
preferable for you to try the do it yourself QR code generators rather
than class tools. If you are struggling, then refer to class tools for help.
