8.0 Project:
8.1 Justification
In the Philippines, most of the people are now raising goats in their farms and even in
their backyards. There are several advantages of raising goats, it is very popular among Filipinos
because of low capital investment, fit to small hold farm condition, multiply fast and require low
maintenance because they eat tree leaves, weeds, and grasses. They are not only a source of
protein for Filipinos, but they also provide the much- needed income. In fact goats provide
livelihood to about 15 million Filipinos across the country today. They also command a higher
price compared with other meats in the market. This project have a high profit and less expense.
I choose this project because some entrepreneurs who have a goat production business
dont have an enough supply to produce in the market.
