Paraeducator Practicums
In addition to specific job-related training, NWTC has identified Employability Skills that are transferable and
go beyond the context of a specific course. This will help you reflect on your actions, responsibilities, and
behavior that is important to prepare you to enter the workforce.
You will be scored on how well you reflect on your performance of the Employability Skills on how well you
understand what behaviors indicate the Employability Skills, and the examples you provide of your
performance.
Under each of the seven Employability Skills is a bulleted list of behaviors and characteristics to assess student
achievement in each of the Employability Skills. Indicate with a Yes or N.O. if you have shown evidence of
each behavior. Then use the following point scale to rate the your performance on each of the seven
Employability Skills:
