Co-op in the Mechanical Support department of a nationally funded particle physics laboratory
Performed stress analysis on I-beams and vacuum windows using hand calculations
Backed up hand calculations using the Finite Element Analysis software, ANSYS
Created parts and assemblies in Siemens NX software
Worked with multiple engineers from a variety of disciplines, as well as technicians and physicists
Worked with various distributors to procure parts including thin vacuum windows and a dust mitigation

Assembled a Secondary Emissions Monitor by hand in a clean room which is now being used to read particle

Designed, procured, and built a liftable cart that will transport three 700 lb. shielding rails through the
