Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this lesson students will be able to:
-Compare and contrast the similarities and different between the oryx and the jerboa.
-Identify and describe the oryx and the jerboa by using the language of (It and They).
-Develop the listening skills by focusing on specific informations.
-Create visual representation of the desert animals (oryx and jerboa).

What does it eat? Where does it live? When does it sleep?.

Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction)


Let the students remind me of what we talked about in the previous lesson. After that ask them if they know other animals
live in the deserts to see their background.

Guided Experience ( Mastered activity/ whole class)


Students will read informations about the oryx and the jerboa from the learner book, I will ask them questions about the
paragraph.

Classifying informations (whole class activity)


By using flash cards and pictures the students will classify the different and similar informations about the two animals on
the board and use the language of (it and they).
Who i'm? Game (Group activity)
First, I will read a sentence about specific animal and the students have to guess who I'm talking about, they will have a
paper with the animals pictures, they will cross the pictures until they cross a complete line, who finish first say Bingo!
Different activities ( group activity)
The students will choose a ball with number and they will get their activity according to the number to be more exited.
I have created four different activities and because I'm still don't know their abilities I let them choose, by doing that I will
know what they can do.

Finally we will see the stars of the day who collect more blocks and I will praise them.

What went well in this lesson is the reactions and cooperative between the students and their behavior was perfect and the group
leaders did a good job in managing their groups .
I think it's better I I explain the activity in details and say what I expect from them exactly before I give them the worksheets
because when I give them the worksheets they was busy with discovering what is that and they didn't listen to my instructions.
