Hi gurus,
I am a new driver and have had no driving experience before, as I learned driving from school,
till I got my new i.20-magna.
Being a new person/driver I have few questions regarding the mainting the new car/i20.
It is been said that, till 1000Kms you need to drive carefully.
What should be the speed limit to observe ?
Is it just the speed limit or RPMs are to observe as well ?
which petrol should I be using in the my car ( 1.2L- petrol ) ,speed, power or raw ?
How do I calculate the Average/Mileage ?
What should be the tyre pressure to maintain in normal circumstances ?
What is called as Gear-ratio ?
What if once or twice, you accidently crossed the speed limit to observe when in 1000Km ?
How much does the engine gets aected due to reviveing, when in 1000km?
Can the use of normal water for wiper-washers container ?
Till now, i guess thats enough, I will post more soon. Till then please reply to this. Awaiting for
your response. Kindly help Thanks in advance.

Try keeping it between 2000-2500
Is it just the speed limit or RPMs are to observe as well ?
They are interrelated,so keep it below 80kmph

well, here is the status:

1. Yet to complete one week (got the car on 19th-oct)
2. Kms run till now: 785 kms
3. The car is awesome, AC is good, pick up is nice.... the car sticks to the road, the gear shift,
car remains smooth even in continous running, the care is very slient.

4. Drove on the Kolhapur streets, full of holes...it can go as smooth as you wish, without
knocking ;)
5. The front bumper needed to change... due to a bad man present in
my building... who had dashed something to my parked vehical
9. The notorious kid, scratched the left-back door....
Do you think, i am going to fast to use this car ?
Do I get the scratched re-worked ? ppl/friends say that, some ppl do it intentionally, as they
dont like a see a neat and clean car.. so if you keep it as is then nothing will happen..
i dnt know.. what to do...

before the engine is warm (see the temperature gauge).

To know what is engine break-in (runin as we often call in India), read:
http://www.ntnoa.org/enginebreakin.htmand
http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm(you can ignore their advice if you want
to, but worth reading the lesson on how breakin happens in a new engine or a rebored
engine).
