EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Best Price Modern Wholesale Store is a part of Walmart which came in joint venture with
Bharti Group with 100% FDI in wholesale to Reseller, HORECA( HOTELS,
RESTAURANT and CATERING) and O&I ( ORGANISATION and INSTITUTION).
I carried out my project in order to increase the the market potential of Best
Price in Raipur City. In Raipur there are a lot of small retailer, hotels, restaurants,
organizations and institutions who purchase goods at bulk in wholesale and use it for
reselling and other business purpose. So there was a wide scope of market available for
Best Price Modern Wholesale Store.
I started my project by accumulating prospects for my store then I worked on
conversion of my prospects into members. Identifying the needs of the customers and
bridging the gap between the customers expectation and the available resources.
The biggest challenge for me was to highlight the store as it was new of its
kind in the area.

LIMITATIONS OF THE PROJECT

This project has faced some of the limitations. As limitations could impure the
projects transparency & its authenticity, it was necessary to minimize the
limitation to some extent. Some of the limitations cannot be minimized whereas it
was possible in some cases and due steps were taken to increase the reliability of
project.

LIMITATIONS

1. Due to time constraints, a sample was chosen on the basis of convenience

so as to be the representative of total retail shops, for Lemar.
2. Language barrier being one the main constraints in data collection process.
3. Poor feedback from some of the retailers was a hustle in carrying on the
research work effectively. It was observed that some of the employees at
Lamar super market responded partially while some refused to cooperate.
4. Giving excuses like lack of time hampered the performance.
Retailers were giving vague information. Also some time they were giving information
on the basis of their personal judgment.
