Prayer for success in any work

Ganesha Prayer
Ganesha, also known as Ganapati or Elephant God has a head of an elephant and a body of a
human with a big belly. Though he has a huge body, he rides a small mouse. He is known as the
god who removes obstacles and difficulties in our life. And traditionally, at the start of any new
work, the first prayer goes to him - to make it successful.

Prayer to the Teacher

Teachers role in ones life is very important. A good teacher shows the right path and inspires to
seek knowledge and achieve goals. The word guru is now common in modern English and
refers to someone who is expert in a subject. This verse highlights the significance of a good
teacher and emphasizes that an earnest knowledge-seeker should look up to such a person with
great reverence.
